does the new zelda scratch your screen?

I was originally thinking that I didn't want to get the new zelda because it only supported touchscreen control. However, I played it at gamestop recently and it is pretty awesome, so I think i want to get it. I am concerned for my screen though, can anybody let me know if this scratches the screen at all? I was thinking of getting a screen protector with the game, but they didn't have any screen protectors without adhesive on the back. I wanted a screen protectors that is basically just the same material as the plastic stuff that sticks to windows(like those things everybody has on their car windows now) Anybody know any screen protectors like that?

No, but it craps up your screen with bland graphics and dull gameplay.

I think if you're gentle with your stylus, you shouldn't have a problem. I've played the shit out of different touchscreen games and have no scratches on my screen.

I wouldn't know. i've kept a screen protector on my ds since day 1, so my screen is perfect. but if you're not extremely rough with it, it really shouldn't do any damage.

My DS lite has a few very, very light scratches now that I looked at it. I highly doubt this came from playing just Zelda. I can't notice them with the bright back lit screen when playing. Definitely get Phantom Hourglass, you won't regret it.

I could see how someone getting really overzealous with fishing or the cannon mini-game could scratch their screen, but other than that, probably not. That said, I've always used screen protectors on my DS. I know Hori makes a static cling screen protector that's gotten good reviews.

I have never had a screen protector and my ds screen is perfect. Nintendo makes these to last. I understand people using screen protectors, but they are not necessary.

Definately get Zelda. It is a must play game!

The Nintendo brand stylus will not scratch the screen unless you somehow compromise the tip.

You could GOUGE the screen, but that that point, you would have to be trying to do that to accomplish the goal.

Unless you're a bear of a DS player, you shouldn't have a problem. I've never used a screen protector and my screen is just fine.

Get the Hori screeen protectors. I'm very happy with them.

But even w/o a protector you are unlikely to scratch the screen to where it will affect or be noticeable during gameplay. You will get some scratches that can be seen with the system off and angled just right in good light.
haha if you think zelda will do damage to it clearly you have never played Elite Beat Agents lol
agreed the hori protectors kick ass i got some for mine after i got a ds and theyre pretty cheap. try outpost.com i think they had hori screen protectors for 4 or 5 bucks at least thats what they cost when i got mine. insurance on keeping your screen pristine doesnt hurt.

I've never really understood this question.

I have a system that has touch screen abilities...should I use it? I suppose if you wanted to be sure it never got scratched or used you could just make it a really bright GBA player.
