Sweet, thanks for posting!

I was wondering though...is the Starship Troopers set with the figure the trilogy or just the first movie, and is it DVD or BD? If it's the trilogy on BD with the figure, I'll be heading out in the morning to a couple of Dollar Generals for sure to look for one.

From my 30-second scouring of the web, I'd say it's the trilogy on DVD. Doesn't look like they ever included anything else with that figure set. You can buy the BD trilogy on Amazon for $10.99, so $16.99 for everything isn't bad. Considering how lackluster the trilogy is, I think DVD is more than good enough :)

It's the DVD trilogy in the gift set. The dollar general I was at also had the trilogy in bluray

Yeah, I have all three movies on DVD, I just thought for $6 to upgrade to BD plus a figure would have been cool or even as a gift for a buddy. I may still buy both if I find them in store...even though the 2nd and 3rd movies were pretty rough.

Thanks for the info, I might still swing by and see what I can find locally. $6 for the BD trilogy isn't bad, I can always garage sale my DVD copies. And again thanks for posting this, I had totally forgotten that I found several BD giftsets last year at Dollar General, didn't even think to check back this year.

Stopped by my closest store and didn't find much. Only Mortal Instruments (which we already own) and Steamboy (which we didn't want). Oh well, thanks for the heads up OP.

Thanks OP! Stopped by my closest DG and found what I was looking for - Easy Rider Digibook. I may check other local stores to see if I can find the set with  "So I Married An Axe Murderer" .

FYI: these are still out there in the wild.

Popped in a Dollar Heneral store today and picked up Gorundhog Day/Sripes for $5. Surprised to find a UV code inside for both films that doesn't expire until next year.

I found an Easy Rider digibook a couple weeks back at another store. But this other store I visited today has 6 copies of it. If your store never got their copy, I know where it went.

They had most of the movies mentioned in to OP. I convinced myself to put Karate Kid 1 & 2 back down. I'm not I love with those movies but it was a nice price. Maybe if 3 was included...

Any new steelbook  at dollar General

Not sure what "new" means in this instance but I did see Men in Black, Social Network, and some western steelbooks. None of the movies interested me so didn't pay much attention to them.
Considering how random it can be, it's probably worth stopping in if you're near one but not so much to go out of your way to one.
