Done With Games/Collecting...BUY MINE!
$50.00 S&H seems kinda low for all of those games.
It's based on location. You are closer to him. For me in Oregon shipping is $120.

I am at least 2 hours from him and shipping came to $102 for me...

That is a great collection (but I am a fan of RPG's, especially Final Fantasy).

I'd click the buy it now button if you didn't require Paypal. Damn shame.

TBW

PS Looks like it sold...and to a CAG! So, when do we tell the seller that he just got ripped off? My opinion is that it was worth far more than $850, but hey, what can you do? I probably would have kept a few things and relisted the rest, and I think that I could have got more than my money back.

How did he get ripped off he wanted a price and received it. Of course he could of received more if you took the time to list individual items, but for alot of people that just takes to freaking long. The time it takes to list, package, receive payment, ship, and deal with non paying bidders on individual items just isn't worth it to alot of people. I could of understand him maybe breaking it up by system, but thats about it...

Is it just me, or is that a fair price? I bought it and if he did not live in Columbus, I would not have bought it. I think he got a fair price considering it was all in one lot.

As a single lot I have to agree and the fact you can pick it up is a huge bonus. You know how much of a pain in the ass it would have been to pack that much junk. Don't get me wrong there are some gems in there, but packing would have been a nightmare.

ahhh.............
You're being sarcastic, right?!
It was a good price (even IF you have to pay for the shipping.)
If you're not sure about the op's location, you should of asked first instead of placing a bid and assuming you can do a local pick up (the op even stated "EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!!!" in the auction).
With over 7763 feedbacks and 459 active listings in video games (as of right now), you're quite familiar with the current prices and I seriously doubt you would bid on a "FAIR" deal, especially when you'll probably resell a majority of that collection for profit (I know. I know... over 90% of the auction value lies within 10% of the items).

I dont understand the post above me at all. OF COURSE I COULD DO LOCAL PICKUP! I already knew that... I picked up the package today and paid via cash to save the user on paypal fees. It was a very fair price, I buy lots ALL THE TIME on ebay and this is what they go for. User was VERY kind and helped by boxing everything still and was a totally great user, one of the best i have ever bought from on ebay. I would not bid on a fair deal? No offense but do your research before you go on opening your mouth

I collect old stuff like its royalty. I always pay fair value. I only resell current gen items and systems. Do not sell anything prior to the N64/ PS1/ DC. No reason to. 99 percent of this stuff is being kept. The new school stuff and the systems (except the boxes SNES, keeping that) will be sold, none of the other games. you should really do your research before pretending to know what you are talking about. I have one of the largest video game collections out there.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound harsh in my previous post and I do apologize.
Guess, I just misinterepted your previous post.
To me, it sounded like you were having second thoughts about whether or not this was a fair deal (you stated that you probably wouldn't even touch this auction if there was a shipping charge, asked other CAGs if this was a fair deal after you won the auction) when it was obvious to everyone here that this was at a minimum, a fair deal (with over 7000 feedbacks on ebay, you know the prices better than 99.9% of us).

As for me labeling you more as a reseller than a collector? That wasn't suppose to be an offensive comment either. It is just that 2.5% [228 / (8832+228)] of your feedback came from sellers. The remaining 97.5% came from buyers. I know there were some good games/items in the lot. BUT, a lot of the games/items in the lot are not exactly what most collectors would go after (incomplete copies of relatively common games, strategy guides that have markings and tears). I figured you will probably sell most of the common/fair condition items in the lot. Again, it wasn't suppose to be an offensive comment and I do apolgize once again.

It is not so much collecting a lot of the older stuff as I just get it and decide to not get rid of it, very hard to explain. I usually use another s/n only for buying, just decided, screw it, I dont care if people see what I bid on. decided about 6 weeks ago to just use this account to buy and sell instead of only selling. the older stuff is harder for me to sell, as a collector and a gamer, I know it is harder to find and is not getting any more common. I have probably about every game in the lot (except the import FF's for famicom and sfc). as you can see by my selling and sold items over 30 days, I do not sell older games. true, they are not true collector's pieces, but I just enjoy them (as stated, I know, its weird)
