I know antex has a few cases without doors jimbo, but i don't care much for them either. I looked at the 300, but didn't like it. Aatually, if they made the doors on those cases just open in the other direction, it'd be ok. Seems to me that most people have their computers to the right of their desks, but most of those doors open to the left.
 
So I started making my wooden tuning peg. Hopefully it'll turn out ok.

I thought about it, but I was about to go eat and couldn't wait for JJ to make one. Plus, changing everything from "downstairs" to "upstairs" is too much work for me.

A professor from ODU is on Discovery talking about the formation of Earth and the Moon. I could care less about the prof, but it's a decent show.

I need to get into a good game. I'm thinking about GTA4, COD4, COD2, Resistance 2, Mass Effect, or Star Wars KOTOR 1.

I've got so much shit I can't seem to pick just one. I'm leaning toward COD2 on vet or Resistance 2.
 
GTA4 was trash, IMO. I liked it at first, but after the initial infatuation faded, it was like any other GTA; fun to run around and kill people for a while, but once you get caught, you feel the need to put a new game in.

Resistance as a whole is kind of a shitty game, too. I can't believe they are releasing another one so soon.
 
Wow at those opinions. GTA4 is one of the few games this generation that I actually beat twice. It isn't the best game in terms of story and Lost and the Damned is better, but it is a fun ride while it lasts. As far as Resistance goes, the game is pretty solid. I got like halfway through the game before putting it down for something new that came out.
 
I don't know what it is about Resistance that makes me hate it, but I do. I played through the first one on Hard when I first got it and didn't like the way it flowed. You would have one big battle, run through the rest of the level and encounter a few enemies here and there, then load the next huge battle, etc. Not to mention if you got shot in the head, half of your health was gone but you had to score like 5 headshots in a row to drop an enemy. It would have been ok if they would have given you a majority of the guns prior to the end of the game, but it seemed like I was using the same gun until 3/4 thru when I got the sniper rifle.

The main reason I like GTAIV so much is because of the characters, narrative and world that Rockstar created. I have absolutely zero interest in running down pedestrians and murdering policemen outside of the context of the story, which is seemingly what most people that play GTA are interested in. :shrugs:

I am just pointing out that it isn't the oscar caliber epic that IGN and others stated it was. For this type of game the story was great, but it wasn't the end all be all that it was described to be. It had solid characters and flowed well, but I still liked VC and L&tD more as far as story goes.

Does Woot run any actual deals? It seems to me that most of the shit on there is garbage and the prices on them after shipping are comparable with a really mild Slickdeal.
 
Okay, I think I've had about all that I can take from this neighborhood. I got my draft checks today, I'm fucking moving the hell outta here.

Was enjoying fallout 3's the Pitt DLC today, and as soon as I come out of the house to meet a friend in the alley, what do I see...Well none other than a whole fucken street blocked off by twenty cops on each side with police tape blocking off both entrances to the carport and just 10 feet from my parking spot a hunched over dead body with a bullet in it's brain, hugging the car he was just getting out of when he was shot in the back of his head.

fuck this city, fuck this state, fuck it all and damn it all to hell.
 
The most fun I had in GTA IV was getting wasted with some dude and trying to drive him back to his apartment. I smashed into almost everything on the way there and by the time we got to his place my car was in flames. He got out of the car and I jumped out and started to run for the hills. I tripped just as the car blew up and killed us both. I laughed for a good 2 minutes.
