DSi XL Trade in offer question

I currently have a DS Lite that I would like to trade in for a DSi XL using Gamestop's current trade offer. However, it has the cracked hinge that all well used DS Lites seem to get. Everything else works fine, but the screen will only open all of the way not stop in between open a closed. Do any Gamestop employees or anyone else know if this will still be accepted as a trade?

It's usually up to the person/manager at the store you go to. If they're cool with you they usually won't mind to take it in.
