I would like to buy the Walmart Skyfall Bluray preorder for $25. (Paypal)

Walmart's computers won't let you buy these if you find them in your store, the preorder period is over. I'm hoping someone had bought an extra. I want the QoS /Casino Royale and Skyfall ultraviolet codes and the bluray set shipped to me, but will give you the extra Skyfall vudu code (if there is one) to use/trade/sell when the discs arrive.

READ ME for info on pre-sale codes and distribution: Pre-sale new release code sales are kept in a spreadsheet in the order payment is received. They are distributed like this: blu-ray first, then mixed bu/dvd that weren't sorted by supplier and finally codes from dvd. I don't get the last of my codes until evening on the day of release, so no way to tell until then exactly how many will be blu vs mixed vs dvd. The higher you are on the list, the more likely you are to get a blu code if that sort of thing matters to you. By late evening on release day or by the following morning, my post will be updated with the format(s) for any remaining codes and pricing will be adjusted at the same time. Release day is the only time both formats will be the same price; after the update Blu-ray codes will be priced higher due to supply and demand.


READ ME for info on format: I never guarantee HD or HDX or 3D redemption quality etc because that's controlled by the issuing studio and also can vary by retailer (vudu vs flixster vs itunes etc). However, if I know where a code came from, it will be marked as such. Blu = blu-ray and Dvd = dvd. Mixed = Codes marked as mixed means my source sent it unsorted and code could be from either format dvd or blu-ray and I don't know which one.

Want to buy: a cheap ~$10 HBO Season (which is redeemable like www.hboselect.com/gameofthrones)

I'm trying to test out HBO's redemption process in advance of Game of Thrones season 2 release.

So far, I've redeemed two seasons:
Boardwalk Empire, S2: I think I went through the HBOSelect site and selected the UltraViolet through Flixster option, then also redeemed directly in iTunes.
Game of Thrones, S1: I redeemed directly in iTunes and then on Game of Thrones page on Vudu.com.

Both are associated with my iTunes account, so will play on Apple TV, etc.

But Boardwalk is in my UltraViolet account, but NOT playable/marked as purchased on Vudu.com. Game of Thrones is NOT in my UltraViolet account, but playable on Vudu.com.

If you look at the redemption page (www.hboselect.com/gameofthrones), it clearly says "Your Digital Copy Plus Your UltraViolet Copy", but you can only select one of the three options:
iTunes (Digital Copy): gives you a directions to redeem in iTunes and then a form for Flixster
vudu (Digital Copy): gives you a form field for vudu and shows a vudu logo in the top right
UltraViolet copy via Flixster: gives you a form field for Flixster and shows a Flixster logo in the top right

I've seen both vudu and flixster logos at the same time on the second step on the form process, but I can't replicate...I think it's a website bug.

My experience has been that you can always redeem iTunes separately and in addition to others (if it's offered.) So I'd like to try vudu through the site, redeem in iTunes and see if this will provide a UV version as well since it's presenting vudu as Digital Copy and says you get digital copy PLUS a UV copy.

(Sorry for two posts today so far, I figured this was a separate enough topic and could help others as well. I'll edit this post with my results...if I have any.)

Brilliant! I totally figured the code was burnt up after using on vudu.com first, but I never tried it on Flixster directly...I just accepted the message from HBOSelect.

So the proper steps:
  1. Redeem on show page at vudu.com
  2. Redeem on show page at flixster.com/ultraviolet/
  3. Redeem in iTunes (on your computer)

The important thing is to redeem vudu before Flixster.

And you'll have an UltraViolet enabled, vudu playable version of the show with iTunes (and it's cloud) as a bonus. Thanks all.

I'm just looking for a cheap HBO TV series code (other than BE S2 or GoT) that I can test out redeeming with to see if it's possible to get it redeemed/playable in iTunes, vudu and UltraViolet. The HBO redemption form (along with most of the others) aren't explicit enough to tell you whats going to happen until you submit the code(s).

UltraViolet association by itself is worthless to me right now because I use vudu apps as my primary players. My Boardwalk is UV, but not playable on vudu...I'm guessing because it's a TV show versus a movie. My GoT is vudu, but not UV. It may be overly OCDish, but I think their form and others can lead to bad results and I'm just trying to figure out what the best option is for HBO redemptions.

For an example, I know if I'm going to redeem at Universal, I'm going to select 'Universal' for UltraViolet copy and 'Amazon' for digital copy. Then, I can still redeem in iTunes. Amazon is normally SD, iTunes sometimes gets an HD version...but at least I've covered my bases for whatever finally shakes down in the digital copy future.

I've redeemed Boardwalk Empire Seasons 1 & 2, Game Of Thrones Season 1, Girls Season 1, and True Blood Season 4, and all of them are in my Ultraviolet account. True Blood does not show up in Vudu, but the others do. However, True Blood also came with an Amazon digital copy. All 5 worked perfectly in iTunes. All of these digital options were for HD copies. Also, I used HBOselect to redeem the movie Game Change from a Blu-ray...it gave me HD in Ultraviolet and Vudu, but only SD in iTunes. And none of this content gets pulled into CinemaNow, even though most of my other Ultraviolet content does. This whole process is pretty ridiculous.

I bought Girls S1 on here and redeemed UV and it only shows on Flixster. It has VUDU listed as a Digital option beside the Itunes Digital Option but I could not redeem that portion. I guess the person selling used that portion. Did yours pull into VUDU because of the Flixster UV option or because you used the Digital portion on VUDU instead of Itunes?

I know Flixster is usually a UV option but in this case Digital.
