Yeah, that one wouldn't go on sale at all, and then all of a sudden it was $10 everywhere. American Splendor was the same way.

Looks like I will probably get O12 at CC. My guess is that Best Buy will do buy o12, get O11 for $5, but maybe they'll come up with something better.

On a different note, that $5.99 Ocean's Eleven is tempting. I think I may have to pick it up.

i was hoping for a cheaper price..but i said when i was younger if they released on dvd i would buy them all..so regardless of price i will have to purchase

Good ad set for CC next week. I am most likely going to grab Ocean's 11 for that price, but I am going to hold off on Ocean's 12 as from the review I read on HomeTheaterForum.com isn't very good (no extras outside of a trailer.. come on). The 2 for $15 sale is decent too, finally I am going to make "Lost In Translation" and "Bone Collector" mine. :D

Thanks TSD for the heads up, looking forward to seeing what everyone else has for next week. Nice for once too that there are no "low price" gimmicks in the ad. :)
 
Oops, I forgot to mention but "Dances With Wolves" is most likely the single disc pan and scam edition which I will pass on. Sorry, you couldn't even give it to me for free. Widescreen/OAR only here folks.

First off, thanks for listing the deals! ;)

But then I must admit I'm confused. The Ocean's Twelve soundtrack is 16 or 17 tracks, and you list the disc that comes with it is 10 tracks. So what disc comes with it???

As for the movie, it's not as good as the first (IMHO)... but I didn't think much of the first movie till the 2nd or third viewing. I've seen 12 twice, and liked it a little more the 2nd time, so this will probably end up a "keeper" as well. And hell, the cast is awesome. :)
 
s-drop, I might have violeted the $10 Looney Tunes 2-disc set at BB. BB may have dropped its full-time price to $15, but Amazon still has it listed at $18, and even at the legendarily cheap Deep Discount it's still $13. $10 is a great in-store price for the set, which is basically discs 3 and 4 from the Looney Tunes Golden Collection vol. 1, and that 4-disc set lists for around $50 most places, including DDDVD. Obviously if you've got the money to spend, the 4-disc set is the way to go (the discs exclusive to that set are an all-Bugs and all-Daffy & Porky disc, which are most likely the must-see discs in the set), not to mention the second 4-disc set that came out recently. But still, to be able to get half of set #1 for $10 is a steal.

Thanks for the heads up. I was hoping BB would have Fable for $20 next week so I wouldn't have to fool with using a comp's coupon at Circuit City (mine didn't let me use a comp's coupon on their SALE price last time I tried :( ) But guess I'll go ahead and give it another shot.

So, wait, I can get Viva La Bam seasons 2-3 for 25 dollars AND Jackass the Movie for 3 dollars? That sounds amazing... Even if I already have it, but 3 dollars for a new copy would be nice. Especially since I got the FS version.

Been looking forward to this set for a while, I'll definitely pick it up when it comes out on the 12th.
 
Ocean's twelve is a steaming pile., but Ocean's eleven for $5.99 is a good deal - if you can actually find it in stock. CC is notorious for offering really good deals, but never seem to have very many copies, if they have any at all. Yet often, once the sale ends, so does the shortage. Coincidence?

My CC got about 20 copies in this past week, but I doubt that will make it til the end of today.... and if it does, I'll be shocked.

I found out why my local CC never has any new TV series in stock... the bastards put them out early!

They had two copies of VLB Seasons 2 & 3 and only one copy of Jackass (that I had to dig through several racks to find, already out. I picked up VLB and Jackass, got a great deal. Had to remind the cashier about the deal though (make sure they ring up the deal under Package 2, reading "Viva La Bam / Jackass" or something similar).

No wonder I couldn't find VLB or Chappelle's Show when they first came out. :(

Actually "Viva La Bam" was released last week. Paramount gave stores the okay to start selling it last Tuesday at the last minute. This is a exception more than the rule in this case however.

I'm gonna head over to CC after I play basketball to see if they do indeed have VLB seasons 2-3 and pick up a copy of the WS edition of Jackass. I'll probably call first.
 
If you go look for VLB, look in the Television DVD section (under V) of course. I don't think they will put it with the new releases. They didn't have a place/pricemarker for it anywhere, either.

Even if they tell you they don't have it yet, it may be worth it to go see for yourself. If they have it, and give you a hassle for finding it before street date, just hide another copy (if there is one) so that you are guaranteed one Tuesday.

Also, they may have put the copies of Jackass up for the sale on Tuesday, so you may need to do a bit of searching through the racks.
