CAGiversary!

I picked up an E-Reader on the cheap a few days ago and now I'm looking to buy some cards for it. Seems I jumped on this two years too late as I'm having a hard time finding any. Do any internet shops still sell these? Also, if any CAG's out there are looking to sell some, I'm buying mainly Pokemon R/S, NES Game, and Super Mario 3 cards.

In/Pending In:

Air Hockey, Eon Ticket, Animal Crossing (hoofrog)

Wants:

Baseball
Pinball
Super Mario Bros. 3 Packs (loose or sealed, not just one card)
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong 3
Donkey Kong Jr.
Urban Champion
Animal Crossing Packs (would be nice, but not a must)

Not interested in Mario Party.
Payment is through PayPal linked to my CC.
Thanks!

You're right -- they're definitely getting hard to find new since Nintendo dropped the E-Reader like it was hot. I still see packs around at some of the stores, though. I saw some Super Mario 3 cards at Best Buy the other day when I went in to use a 10% off coupon.

Check the Target clearance aisles and also try K-Mart and TRU -- they always seem to still have a few packs left, especially K-Mart... they don't seem to move as much merch as other stores, and they also don't understand the concept of clearing out old stuff that obviously no one will buy anymore (the Super K by me still has a Mario Party 5 + Wavebird bundle for like $70! What the hell!).

Of course, you may also want to try the Big N themselves:

They give the appearance that they still have all of them in stock, so dust off that credit card, bro.

Thanks for the info! I had searched Nintendo's shop yesterday, but I guess I didn't look well enough. Ebay has been soso for finding them. I was able to buy Excitebike for $2.00 after shipping. I also saw some sealed Pokemon e-cards for $14, so it just depends on what you are looking for.

sometime in the last couple of weeks I noticed a couple of gamestops I visited had plastic bins on the counter with 50(?)% off signs on them. They had a bunch of cards in there, including super mario bros and animal crossing e-reader cards. they came out to around $2.00 each, I think.

OP, here is what I have:

Mario Party E (card game)
Clu Clu Land
Kirby Slide (promo card) x2
Golf x2
ExciteBike
Tennis
Mario Bros.
Air Hockey (Promo)
Animal Crossing (came with E-reader, not sure what is on it)
Manhole
Donkey Kong Jr.
EON Ticket

PM if you are interested in any.

Got some as well... all still sealed except Air Hockey-e

Air Hockey-e
Ballon Fight
Baseball
Clu Clu Land
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong 3
Donkey Kong Jr.
Excitebike
Golf
Mario Bros.
Pinball
Tennis

$2.50 shipped for 1st $2 for each after.

The gamestop at tallahassee mall had some Mario 3 e-reader cards for like 1.50 a while ago in the discount bin. I doubt it's still there but thought you might like to know.

I have got the following packs still in the cardboard thingy.

Baseball
Donkey Kong Jr.
Donkey Kong
Ice Climber
Golf
Clu Clu Land
Urban Champion
Animal Crossing Series 1 x 5
Animal Crossing Series 2

Let me know if you are still interested.

Thanks for the replies guys. I made an offer to Johnny Postman for most of his, if he doesn't get back to me I'll send some PM's out to the other people offering.

Ah, the e-reader. Why did I but that piece of junk again? Oh yeah, Mario 3 e-cards. Too bad they never released series 3 and 4 in the US. Damn you, Nintendo!
