So does anyone have an E3 pass they want to sell. I'm willing to pay well for the pass, I would prefer a guest pass, but I would be willing to buy a pass that was already used day 1. I'm in Orange County, CA, so we would have to work something out if we went option #2.

read right under where it tells you the price, you will see this little line that says not open to the public. that is the industry prices. E3 has always been for the industry no public at all ever.



"registration for this package is open only to members of the interactive entertainment industry. E3 2005 is not open to the public"
 
Who's going to E3? I already have my pass set and confirmed. I know a bunch of others will be going as well. Can't wait to see you guys there.
 
I'm goin and very happy about it, but OP, you can't just ask for someone's pass, I know two people who arent' going but guess what? You don't possess their driver's liscences (nor do i think you look like them, :rofl: but that is only funny to me, so anyway). No, bad gamer, bad. =P

I know this one guy who found someone's media pass on the ground on the way there last year, they fall out of the badge holders (at least the ones they had last year) fairly easily. I swear I think I'm bringing some tape this year just in case, but they've changed their distibution method. This year everyone's getting their badges in the mail and you have to show ID to get a your badge holder, you must have both a badge and a badge holder for entrance, and with so many extra badges floating around (because some people change their mind after they reg) I'm sure this means they'll be extra strict about the badge holder.

It's a very cool show and all, but don't risk being thrown out and possibly arrested over something you can read all about on the 'net from the comfort of your own home.

:lol: I'm sure a lot of CAG's would disagree with that statement. Hell, if I lived close, I would sure as hell try and get in! I'd take the risk of being arrested for it! :D

on second thought, regarding your name, I'm sure you'll have no problem with the moral repercussions of the situation. But if you're really willing to "pay well" (ha, paying well for that would probably mean upwards of what the paying passes cost, so well over $300) for a pass, you should have thought of that months ago and found a job in the industry for a few months. You can go if you are not part of the industry, but you need an industry invitation and that $300, which means an exhibitor will have to invite you....g'luck!

I'm sure they would, but a true CAG would figure out how to get in legit for free. :lol:
 
how is it that people can sneak into the republican convention, and not e3, it should be easier, since you can walk into the latter in a sam fischer sneaking suit and get away with it
 
CheapyD or any other members of the site should create a shirt that says "CAG Rules" so that everyone of the members of the site know that we are being represented.

Even better why don't all of you that are going put your User ID on the back of that shirt.

First off, you can buy passes the day of the show, but the only reason to purcase passes is for the workshops which I never go to.
This'll be my 6th E3 visit. 5th in the Green Hat of Awesomeness. (I'll have candy to give out this year)

Exactly. It's pretty obvious that many of the above posters don't realize just how little they care about who's pass on whom as long as you have one.

Unless you're picking up the passes on the first day of the show (which most press do, as the companies in the industry pass the passes out to their employees well before hand), you don't need an ID, nor do they ever ask for one. The best part is having the exhibitor passes and walking past the line to go goof off and run around and play games. HHAH.

Supposed to be a barren wasteland in comparison to previous years, so if you REALLY want one--- I could probably pull the strings, but I needed to know last week. ;-)

Well I don't have a pass to sell, nor am I going, but I did here it's remarkbly easy to sneak in. Of course, they could've upped the security :D
 
For the last four years I have been working literally a few blocks away from e3 and it always kills me to know that I can't go in. I don't work there anymore so maybe it won't be as painful.
 
Quick question.Im trying ot register this year without the paper work.Anyway to do it?I dont got it as of yet but I can get it but would be nice to do it online.Anyway to do that one?I got all the info needed to get in just not the invite paper

oh my gosh man u live in OC and u cant get a pass??

u dont got any friends? atlus and blizzard are in Irvine, NIS America is in aneheim... lots of game companies to find friends.

not to mention the whole arcade scene and its respective internet community / press.

socal people should not have an excuse to not be able to go unless they got school or work
 
Also.Where u guys get the registeration forms.Friend gottem for me last year but he is on vacation right now and i cant get ahold of him
