Anyone else preorder Rock Band from EB/gamestop.com? I ask because I preordered it back on 7-27, like the first week it was available for preorder on their site. Back then (which I notice they no longer offer for any games, but they were offering it for all preorders back then) they had a street date delivery gaurantee if you chose overnight shipping (which I did). If they failed to deliver it on the street date, they refund the shipping fee ($23)
Despite preordering 4 months in advance, my order went to backorder today (the street date) and now lists a release date of 11-30 (second shipment I assume, but not the original street date). This is horse crap. I wrote them asking to remove the shipping fee as per their gaurantee and have yet to hear back. I'm afraid they will now weasel out of refunding the shipping on it, because nowhere on their site is that street date delivery gaurantee with overnight shipping thing. I wish I would have taken a screen shot of it now. Anyone else having the same issue with this? Or a screen cap of that street date gaurantee I can present them with if they do not refund my shipping.
I realize supply is limited and demand is high, this is why I preordered it 4 months in advance. I would think EB.com would ship out preorders according to the date the preorder was placed.
