eb games and gamestop returns?

do they allow say, you buy such and such game or item at the store and return it at another ebgames or gamestop withing the same city?

I've done the same thing. I bought something at a EB in NY and returned it in MA.

Definitely doesn't have to be in the same city. We've returned stuff all over the place because I work near one and live near another, ditto my hubby.
