EB Games Calc.?

I was wondering if there was any way to tell how much a certain game will trade for @ EB (or GS). Like they list how much the consoles do, is there an individual game listing on the web site (or better yet a thread here at CAG that list what certain popular games are going for). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I'll appreciate it.

And just in case, the games I'm trading in:

XBOX
Burnout Revenge
Far Cry Instincts
Brothers in Arms 1
Jade Empire
NFL 2k5
NHL 2k6

PS2
THUG2

DS
Nintendogs
Super Mario 64

Thanks again for any help. Remember were all Shaqfooin' newbs at some point! ;)

you can just type fuck and it corrects it for you ;)

Scorch does speak the truth though - thats the only way to tell for certain.
Although, you can do a rough estimate by divding their retail value of the games by 1/5 and it usually comes out about right in the end give or take.
You'd do a bunch better selling/trading on the forum here. I know I'd be willing to give you more cash than EB would credit for BIA :D

EDIT - my theory doesn't apply to games released in the last month or so since those get decent credit

Thanks, I will try calling them. If I'm not pleased, I'll think about selling them here. Gotta get my paypal account linked to my bank first.

Anyways, the most important thing in the EB Games trade in is the recent "trade in 5 or more games and get an additional $5 credit for each one" deal. But I think it may be over now. :(

Also, is there any extra credit @ EB you get when trade in a system with a bunch of games? Like added onto systems worth?

If I sold online here at CAG I would be asking for this:

Burnout Revenge - $15
Far Cry Instincts - $15
Brothers in Arms Road Hill - $10 (maybe 7 or 8)
Jade Empire - $10 (maybe 7 or 8)
NFL 2k5 - $5
NHL 2k6 - $5
San Andreas Hot Coffee Limited Xbox Edition - $60

Xbox Console (Manuf. Feb. 05, 1 Control, Live Kit, orig. box) - $100 (maybe 90)

And definetly buyer pays shipping.

I think it would be about 20-23 for Burnout and about 25-30 for Far Cry. Burnout is 40 new and Far Cry is still 50 new. NHL, maybe a couple of bucks more, up to 8-9, since it's 20 new.

The prices he listed are pretty reasonable for those games. :)

Good luck with selling them, I'll keep an eye out for a tradelist if you end up trading them on here.

Reasonable, but a little low IMO.

Far Cry is $30 right now at Best Buy brand new. His prices seem pretty good the way he posted them.

EB Manager here.... Honestly trade-in prices on the whole equal to a little less than half of what EB sells the game for USED.

ie - Burnout Revenge sells USED for $34.99, so you'll probably get around $15 in credit.

I'm really considering selling here, look for me in the trade forums next week (Monday, the 12th) because this weekend I'll be trying my luck at EB or Gamestop and also looking at shipping costs.

Then I'll probably reactivate my paypal and set that stuff up.

Burnout Revenge was fun, but I recently got the PSP Legends game to fill those crashin' needs.
