EB Games Falsely Advertising New Zelda Game

Ok, so I posted this in another thread a while ago, but I went back to clarify today.

A while ago, I went into the EB Games store in Rotterdam Square Mall in Rotterdam, NY. I was surprised to find a placeholder for the new Zelda Wii game. Now, I wasn't surprised to see that they had a placeholder, they usually do. What was surprising was what was on the box. It was a black cover, a picture of Link from WW, TP and ST. The title on the box was called "A Moonlight Temple". If you are reading this in disbelief, it gets better. On the back it says, "After Ganon was defeated, after Tetra was rescued, Hyrule shall finally be restored to live in peace...or in shadows" Then it says, "Restore Hyrule and defeat the moon tribe before it becomes cursed forever." Wait it gets better... Lastly it says, "Compete in MULTIPLAYER mode, play minigames with friends in your living room or around the world." I have pictures as well, but can't upload them tonight.

Now for the fun part. When I initially went into EB a month ago, I saw this and thought it was strange. I asked the EB manager what he knew about it. He proceeded to tell me how the new Wii game would be a continuation of Windwaker on the Wii. I asked where he got the box art and he said he found it online. I still have been unable to locate it anywhere online. Then, when I said that I thought it would be stupid for Nintendo to continue the WW story onto the Wii, he got defensive, telling me how innovative the cel shading was, etc. It was only when I got home that I realized that Nintendo had revealed the pic of adult Link with the weird chick on his back at last year's E3. It then made sense to me. This EB manager had created his own box art to make himself be king in his little kingdom.

I guess my point here is three-fold. Number one, how lame do you have to be to try to generate conversation in your store by falsely advertising a game and creating fake box art to make it the way you want it? Number two, this is another notch in the belt of a long line of complaints people have with Gamestop/EB. Number three, has anyone else seen this or have experience with this in your area?

It's likely the same one (Boxart and GameStop/EB Games) mentioned in this Aeropause article:
http://www.aeropause.com/2010/04/hey-gamestop-legend-of-zelda-a-moonlight-temple-is-not-a-real-game/

The boxart was a fan piece uploaded to vgboxart back in 2008. Considering its age, I doubt that the manager of this NY EB Games is the creator of the art, just some idiot who stumbled upon it and thought it was official. In the past, there have been cases mentioned where some GS/EB managers would take it upon themselves to download fan art from the Internet to use as placeholder art.

It is the same, thank you for posting that. I still think it is funny that the guy at EB was so passionate about it and that they are advertising it in their store.
