EB Games - Used Gamecube

yes, there are more than enough games to play on it for the price.

MGS:TTS
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Resident Evil 4
etc.

there is enough to get 60 dollars worth of fun out of the machine as there are a lot of good games for cheap now

I'd say of course it's worth it but I really like my Gamecube but then again I put the money down at launch, overall if you can think of 8 games or so that you like then I'd say go for it for sure.

If you're gonna get a Cube you might as well go get the Mario Kart Bundle, the game and extra controller is well worth the price.
Is buying a used gamecube for $59.99 worth it? I don't own one and I'm interested.
It's even more worth it to track down a Holiday Bundle, where you will get an extra controller and a still-$50 Mario Kart: DD for an extra $40.

Agreed.

Yes get it, Resident Evil 4 is FANTASTIC. I though all previous Resident Evil's were terrible pieces of sloppy crap, but this one is phenomenal, I'm addicted right now.

Make sure you check online too... sometimes they have bundles for systems that they dont offer at a B&M
I'd get a PS2 or Xbox first.
One look at his sig. makes me think he owns an Xbox...

you dissed it before you had it!? Now thats fan boy there. Anyway It depends on what type of game you like. Less blood/ killing/ swearing then buy a cube. Like blood and guts gor for a ps2 ( gangsta killing) or x-box ( alien killin) its up to you.

But if you like zombie-killin' then go for the Cube.

I had a ps2 for a long time, then bought a cube during thanksgiving. The cube has awesome games and the ps2 has a huge library. My brother has an xbox, but if i wanted to play computer type games i'd just use my computer. sorry xbox, halo sux you are just a doom/quake/unreal/half-life ripoff without bots.

If you're going to spend $60, you might as well save a little more and get the Mario Kart Double Dash GC bundle for $99.99. That way, you also get the game, an extra controller (or $15 gift check) and a 1 yr warranty. Not sure what kind of warranty, if you get one at all, on a used system.

Thanks for sharing that, it really helped the thread out somehow...

Rampant fanboyism these days, I'm telling ya.

Where would I be able to find one of these? I checked amazon.com but they don't have any, and EB games doesn't have any. Is this a B&M thing?
Is a used GC more reliable than its PS2 and Xbox counterparts?
A GC that has taken several blows from hammers, is still more reliable than the PS2 and the Xbox..no joke.

On a darker note: Marines920 threatened to take my life at a Chucky Cheese party!!

Edit: Btw Don, you have more than double my posts! aaaaand I have only been lurking since mid-summer. Your CAGness is fearful...
