EB/GS Coupons ($10 off two $15+ used DS games, etc)

I haven't seen that email. :whistle2:s Would love to see it, since I've been looking for a copy of TL2, and saving $5 would be nice.

B&M only, I'm guessing?
 
Yeah, they're just included in the weekly "Weekend Specials" email. They have coupon codes, but I doubt they work online.

The quality is equally crappy in the email, other than the compression, sorry.

If Etrian Odyssey would come in stock somewhere, I might look into it, not a whole lot else I'm interested in.

Not as useless as last week's PSP coupon, since the B2G1 ends 6/10.

Haven't gotten my email for this week yet either, though.
 
Yeah, I thought the DS and Taito Legends ones were actually worthwhile so I figured I'd try and make it a liitle more know.
 
Got the e-mail. So would this would stack with the buy 2 get 1 plus edge card? It might make for some really good DS deals.

The B2G1 + the coupon, probably not, since that's the "other deals" part that it lists as not working with.

This coupon + EDGE should also work.
 
It's not so much a "$50 off" coupon as it is a "buy it for $49.99" coupon. It's not a bad price, but Fry's.com recently had one for $40. Don't know if that's still going.
 
I want to use these coupons, but I'm not sure of any DS games I want. I really want some new ones though..

does anyone have any recommendations? I like just about all good games, i'm just not sure what's out anymore

Well because its a coupon for used games the selection of "newer" games should be limited. If you just want fun games to play usually DS is pretty safe, if it looks good it probably is, at least to an extent.

The only thing you might have to worry about is GS/EB over-pricing most DS games....

If you could use that $50 4GB memory stick coupon with the b2g1 free deal you could get a 4GB memory stick for around $33, which would be an insane deal.

B2G1 is for USED items. They don't sell used memory sticks.

i think ill pick up brain age and big brain for ~$22...and who knows maybe ill be able to get another title for free (doesn't hurt to try now does it?)

They do sell used Memory Sticks, but chances are they will be EXTREMELY hard to find and they very well may be at regular price anyways, you know how they can be on these things...

The coupon for the DS games seems pretty tempting. Too bad the GS's all near me don't really have any interesting DS games to buy used. ::shrugs:: Maybe they might have something good next week as I picked up a complete Lost In Blue, used, at one GS earlier this week (I was quite surprised seeing it on the shelf and quickly snatched it).

Buying more used games nowadays makes me think of signing up for the edge/more card, but I don't want the subscription to Game Informer magazine. If there was a way to get the card without the subscription, I'd do it and pay the $15 for the year.
 
There's really no way to get the card without getting Game Informer. If anything, you could use it as a source of heat during cold days by burning it. Or as backup toilet paper. :p

Since I bought Taito Legends 2 off the website, and it's still unopened, I think I'll just return and rebuy with the coupon to get the $5 off.

An additional thing to point out with the email these coupons came in: Disgaea 2 is only $29.99 this week as one of their In-Store specials. That's a decent price if you missed the $16.96 CC price.
 
I also noticed that Circuit City has the Sandisk 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for $50 bucks as well and no need for a coupon or anything.
 
I went to a EB today and got TL2, gave the fucking clerk the coupon and even asked him twice to take off the coupon! When I got home and check the reciept, the stupid fuck didn't take off the coupon. I'm so mad! fuck eb/gs!

Any one know the number for the Louisville area DM?

I was able to find advance wars, but I couldn't find another game in the used DS section that I wanted. I always find that's the problem with GS and used game deals...most of the time I can't find the right amount of games for the deals. Oh well...at least I now I have advance wars.

Has anyone used the DS coupon?
