EB-Trade 10 get $50 MORE! Now valid for EVERYONE!

I might take EB up on this deal and bring the games they rejected from me from the 3 for 1 deal tomorrow. :hot: It would be like a $50 discount off a PS3/Wii according to the trade in values they gave me so....

I was going to be pissed because I just traded in around 40 games with the trade 3 get $10 extra deal. Seems like a good deal for the folks up north.

Here's a filler game 4 u.
Feel the magic
EB price: 10 Edge: 9
Trade price: 5+5+10%=11

EB IS NOT A RIP-OFF if you know their prices.

This trade more get more event ends Nov 30th and is Not only on the pre order towards the systems. It is a seperate event.

tax on the purchase will kill you though. esp. with canadian tax rates. but the extra $50 is sweet. $55 with the edge.

So it could go towards like a DS Lite or games? I don't understand.

I'm pretty sure that it just means that:

Say every game you trade in is worth 3 bucks.
Trade In 10=50 bucks extra.
Get 80 Dollars of Store Credit at EB Games.
It's that simple *i think I made it easy*
Hm. Are they still doing the increased hardware prices too?
The hardware deal was ONLY for the preoders. If you are one of the lucky ones that has a pre order on a ps3 or wii then yes you can get the up'd price.

I traded in 2 xbox systems and got a $100 each towards the Wii, however no one could tell me if you could walk in now and get the extra money. I think it was only that morning.

Only works for those two systems... and thats it. And since all the stores prolly ran out of pre-orders in the first few hours on Monday... I think its over now.

The manager I was speaking to, said it did apply to any GBA, DS, GC, PSP, PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360 game... and she said ANY game... even like madden 2001, and stuff. And I asked if she thought they would ever have the deal again... and she said she didn't know.

Darn it! I almost found a use for my copy of Oni for PS2, if only I hadn't of had to have worked that monday...

For all those who got a preorder, an idea to get it cheaper would be to sell your cheap games to Blockbuster for credit to make money (For example if you bought battalion wars for 10 dollars, blockbuster was taking it for 35$) Then use that credit to buy a PS2/GC/xbox for around 50 dollars each, meaning you get 3 consoles for 30 bucks = 150 bucks going towards your new system, meaning you can buy a Wii for 60 BUCKS!!! 0_0...dang I wish I had a preorder, I couldnt go cause of school and my parents forgot/didn't go =/

so this applies to anyone as in it doesn't got towards a preorder? So i can trade in my 10 games and get $50 plus what the games are worth to spend on anything in the store? Or can i ask for cash too? I've never traded at ebgames.

Yep, you'll get $50 + what the games are worth to spend at the store. EB Games trade in values are notoriously low though. It doesn't matter if you pre-ordered a Wii/PS3. I saw the ad at the store. It's just a full promotion now.

I just got back from eb and they didn't take gta vice city for xbox or ps2 and nhl 2004. They also took off $2 for one of the games because it was scratched up pretty good, the others were in good shape. I guess i'll have to come back tomorrow with 3 new games, i'll call to make sure they accept them this time. For nhl he said there was no sku so they couldn't take it, same for gta vice city ps2, gh version.

There would be a sku's for both of those games. niether of which would work for the trade in deal. It is a 3$ min, I believe.

Well they were willing to take in firepro wrestling for the gba which he said has a value of $1.00. Also he said they won't take any games without manual and case, including gba games, yet they sell them that way. wtf?

Only for this deal does the games have to be complete.

Anyone else able to trade in even zero-dollar TIV games? I have a pile of those here...would be awesome to get essentially a $5 TIV on each! I'll try phoning some EB Games stores around Edmonton, just curious if anyone else had luck trading in crappy/old games (that have a UPC!)...thanks.

Bart

I would like to know this too. I have a couple of old 2k sports games I want to get rid of.
