eBay item hasn't arrived from another country..

I bought something from eBay out of the U.S., France to be specific.


The item was a original avatar poster, by 20th fox which is apparently rare and he said his account got suspended for selling avatar press books, but he was selling me a poster. I guess FOX was saying it was copyrighted or something like that

He said he shipped the item first class but it has not arrived yet. He shipped it first class on the 16th of January. Said it would take 5-9 days, 20 days occasionally. Although there is no tracking.

I mean the guy seems reliable. He had over 1000+ feedback, no negative.


What should I do? I still have the dispute case open.

Don't worry, it will most likely get there. Sometimes first class international can take a month or more.

Cant list because his account is suspended. But he has been very good with communicating.

I wouldn't worry yet. It takes 2 to 5 weeks for my games from Japan to arrive.

I bought something from hong kong, while not france it still took like a month to get to my house, don't include weekends or holidays and that should be about right

Damn. I shouldn't worry then. It's been 16 days excluding weekends/holidays. So maybe i'll get it tomorrow if im super lucky or next week if im lucky.

it took me 3 months to get something shipped from hong kong, give it some more time.

I had to wait almost 4 months for something to arrive from the UK.

1.5 months from Hong Kong for me. Opened up a dispute and got my money back. A week later the items arrived in the mail. Go figure.

I once had a game take 3 weeks to be delivered 1st class and it wasn't from another country.

Ok so I guess he isn't scamming, using all your personal comment with shipping.

Should I turn off the dispute? again, i cannot show his profile, it is suspended. But he has over 1000 feedbacks. Known for fast shipping (har har) and all satisfied.

Ive also had items take a good deal longer than a month to arrive from over seas, most recently a lighted sign from Hong Kong that I forgot about until I received it 53 days later lol.

Another place I ordered out of country was from Japan and it only took me less than 2 weeks to get it.

If you open the dispute, get your money back, and then get the item. You can always give the money back to him. His account is suspended anyways right? Or am I missing something...

Yep its suspended, but I just closed the dispute. So we'll see..
