If you look at the pictures, you can tell certain games are factory sealed, such as Saga Frontier 2 and Vandal Hearts. You can also see that 5 of the 6 games have the factory sealed stickers still in tact, making them new games. I'll be sure to post better pics when they show up. ;-)

My suikoden II still has the sealed sticker on it, but I play it all the time because I just slid the disk out, theirfore their not new or sealed, just have the top lable, but fairly good find

Even if they all end up being used copies, it's still an average of about $11 an item. Pretty good price, especially considering when some of those could be sealed.

For PS1 games, it's very easy to 'keep the seal intact'. Just un-hing the bottom spoke of the jewelcase & you can 'flip' the case open, therefore keeping the seal intact to reshrinkwrap for later. Used to do that all the time when gutting display cases back at EB.

Either way, judging the care that the auctioneer went through displaying the games, I don;t think you will be disappointed. The seller looks to be obsessive-compulsive about maintaining his games.

What's with just the Alundra book? No Game? What a cocktease! ;)

Yeah, having worked at Gamestop (actually, still working there :p), I know all about that. However(!), it is very hard to do so with double disc games. Most of the time, the label takes some sort of damage, whether it's a tear or a large crease. In any case, the seller did mention that the games were "resealed" before actually having purchased them and that he hasn't played them. He also mentioned that some of the games were still originally sealed and is selling all games as used only for the purpose of simplicity. If either Vandal Hearts, Chrono Cross, or Vanguard Bandits shows up factory sealed, it'll have turned from a good deal to a great deal, in my mind. :)

vandal hearts not all that saught after sealed, if it was vandal hearts 2 sealed might of been a different story but if u get vanguard sealed it woul;d of took its value close if not more then $50

The Vanguard Bandits is the best thing in that lot, for collecting purposes anyways. As for the rest of that stuff...rather eh. Nothing special, everything is about average price except for Vanguard.

It's funny that you should say that. The original Vandal Hearts has picked up all kinds of steam, now selling for around $20-$25 complete. Also, keep in mind that there is a sequel coming out for the Nintendo DS, and we all know what sequels do for past games in the series (Suikoden II, Koudelka, Rhapsody, Brave Fencer Musashi). The only sealed copy I've seen lately went for $59.99, but that was through a BIN.
Not bad. Adrian, went to your store today, guess you didn't work...boo...
I typically work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I actually went in yesterday at two different times to pick up some PS1 rpg guides. I picked up Grandia and FF:O.

While this auction might turn out just being an average auction, it could potentially be a very good auction. If there were no pictures included in the listing, I probably would have passed on it. Considering how nice everything looks and seeing 5 of the 6 games with factory stickers really sweatened the pot. I'll be sure to update this post once the items actually arrive.

Got the items today and I'd have to say I did a pretty good job. The only things not sealed include:
Chrono Cross
Grandia
Saga Frontier 2 guide
Chrono Cross guide
Grandia guide
Legend of Dragoon guide (although it appears to be brand new)

As for the sealed goods:
Vanguard Bandits
Vandal Hearts
Saga Frontier 2
Legend of Dragoon (original release, to boot)
Vanguard Bandits guide
Alundra guide
Vandal Hearts guide

Having the Chrono Cross sealed would have been an excellent kicker, but at least some of the others gems were infact sealed.

Yeah, that's certainly the way it seems. Very rarely do I come across good deals on Ebay when it's for one single item (unless it's a really low BIN on a very expensive game). I'll have to keep my eye out for more of such auctions.

I found my Suikoden guide that way. $40 BIN (which seems like a ton), but the game regularly auctions for $70+. You guys should give it a try if you are looking for a certain guide.

...Wow. I just checked the Movie Gallery here, and they have these (all non GH):

Chrono Cross - $10
Legend of Dragoon - $10
Saga Frontier 2 - $10 (B2G1 - free)
Grandia - $15

Also, they had:

Grandia 2 - $15
Grandia Xtreme - $15
Star Ocean TtEoT - $20

All new.

Saga Frontier 2 has next to no value at this point in time, but everything else would seem to be a good investment. I say jump on, at least, the ps1 rpgs. :)

I would've, but I already bought them. ;)

Have you played SF2? I didn't find it very good. The story is somewhat confusing and the battles are so slow that I moan in agony whenever I go into one.

Lol sorry, but if it's any consolation I only played it for 30 minutes and then gave up. I think my characters died, I'm not sure...

Haha, that's good stuff. That game has always been very far down on my list when it comes to actually playing through it. I still need to play through gems like Grandia, Xenogears, Star Ocean, and Chrono Cross (nearly beat CC, but I lost my save >_
