Ebay up to 30,000 PS3's

If Sony did cut the launch numbers to 150,000 that is about 20% of all US PS3's are up on Ebay right now, and that doesn't count the ones already sold.

How high do you think that number will go?

I know some of those systems are Japanese PS3's, but a good majority are US versions.


UPDATE: For those of you counting that is 607 pages with 50 units on each page. Good luck getting yours noticed.
 
It looks like the 60GB are only going for around $1,200 now. Still not bad, but nowhere near the $2,000+ a few days ago.
 
Today at work I mentioned that I got a PS3 and this girl that works with me offered me $1000 for it. I turned her down for 2 reasons: 1. I want to keep it and 2. If I ended up not liking the PS3 and did sell it to her I'd give it to her at cost and not be a fuck hole about it.

I gave her a few sites to check and I told her about the $100 360 on Amazon. I hope Ebay gets flooded with these things so people like her that actually want one to play can get one. 30,000 is a great start towards that. :)
 
wow only 1200$...still a decent price but not worth lining up in my opinion. Chances of getting robbed were too high lol
 
I've been watching some recent auction closings.

60GB looks to be going for $1200 or so.

20GB variable, but around $800

I saw a bunch of 20GB auctions go without any Bids at all (seller asking $1000 to start)

Anybody seeing any other crazy prices?

I think the price is going to go wayyyyy down in the next few days.

Actually the number is down to 24,390 (11/18/06 at 11:22pm Central time). I am waiting to sell my ps3 2 weeks before xmas. There will be hardly any on ebay by that time and good luck getting one at the store!

Yea your right, none will be on ebay around xmas time, and your the only one to think of that. :roll:

I remember xbox's going for $2-6k. I guess PS3 not coming close, just shows that people are turned off by the $600 price tag from the start. Also ebay's flooded with them, as where there wasn't 40,000 360's on ebay either.
