EBGames' Preowned Games Testing is Retarded

mastertard

CAGiversary!
I ordered pre-played versions of God of War (PS2), Soul Calibur 3 (PS2), and Dragon Quest 8 (PS2) from EBGames, and guess what? They're all messed up some how (won't load beyond a certain point or has EXCESSIVELY slow loading times)... does anyone know how they test their pre-owned games? Do they even test them?

I would understand if one of them was messed up... but all three were messed up! This is ridiculous... of course I'm going to try to return them, but now I'll have to wait while winter break passes by...

If they're all like that, maybe it's your ps2.

No testing occurs on the games. Do you realize how much time that would take to test EVERY SINGLE GAME taken in trade. You were just unfortunate to run into the problem with 3 games at the same time. Just not your day.

Actually, I just bought a v13 brand new PS2 slimline two weeks ago. I don't think it's that, and a brand new Katamari Damacy and Resident Evil 4 work perfectly fine.

well mastertard, GoW does have a few fatal glitches and SC3 has long loading times. not sure about DQ8.

What's wrong with the return policy? I got Everquest Norrath and James Bond for PS2, one didn't work well at all so I took it in and they replaced it without a hassle...the CD was like new too (the new one) so what's wrong with it?

Take game(s) + order form (receipt) to any EBGames and tell them you want them replaced, they do it without a hassle...if they give a hassle, threaten them with the back of that paper =P

I have a copy of Capcom Fighting Evo that I got in the b2get1 sale online, that I need to return to a B&M and get another copy of or credit on a gift card. It loads up the main menu, then when you pick characters and try to get into a match, it takes around 60 sec to load the stage, then in between rounds another 60 seconds, after going thru that a few times it just gives me a BSOD and I have to reset.

Im pissed cos I have to go to the B&M for such a crap game. =p

I recently bought a copy of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within for the Xbox from EBgames.com and when I tried to play it, it wouldn't boot up at all. I took it to a local EB and they switched it out, no problem what so ever.
