Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Wizards Tower on XBL now

Careful, LinkinPark will TeamXBox Copy&Paste you then link you to the official update thread!

Linkin, since you'll no doubt read this.. in the update thread, the game's name is Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.. not Oblivion IV!

It was actually leaked friday. For some reason, Microsoft doesn't seem to moniter the featured download section very well. I was able to download astropop two days before it went live as well.

The quest is extremely money heavy. You don't have to pay for the spire, but it costs about 1500-2000 gold pieces for each update. And there's four updates.

Scorch is the CAG unofficial bully, no one here takes him seriously. Any threats or hostillity are meant to be taken as a joke.

I don't have a magic character but I almost want to download it for this reason alone.

Hey look, someone who understands. It's just a joke.

I "have it out" for Linkin because I used to play against him on XBox Live before he started posting here (against him and/or his sister), so i've known him a while.

Same. I wanna jump off of there.

Well I just wanted to see the view but hey, who's stoppin' ya man. Make sure you pin the suicide note on real good cause there will be a lot of wind on the way down and you want to make sure everyone knows why you did it.

Did you DL it yet? Is it really really high?

Yes, it's really high.

If you use magic AT ALL, you'd be crazy not to download this. Yes, it's kind of pricey (in-game cash), BUT...

...the chick that holds all the goods is only a Novice in Mercantile, so chat her up and then haggle her down.

The tower is amazing. From the Frost Atronach frozen in the floor, to the bat cave complete with imps to the huge (and apparently regererating) botanical garden. I haven't summoned any of the Atronachs yet, but if they follow you around outside the tower too, that would be fantastic.

It's not much of a quest though. Buy the furnishings and that's it. First thing I did after moving all my loot out there was jump off the tower. Took about 55-60% of my health.

How much in-game money does it cost?
How much in-game money does it cost?
There are 4 kits I believe and each one is about 1500. You can get it cheaper if you use the Voice of the Emperor or any other number of ways to get her disposition up.

Is there any incentive to getting this if I haven't focused on my magic at all? I'm only up to level 6 overall and my skills that govern magic are only around 30 or so. Will it give me an advantage to leveling up my magic faster?

It looks pretty?

Can you actually get a nice view from the tower's spire?
Each time I've been up there so far, its been raining or overcast.

yeah same for me : /

That's pretty much all I've gotten out of it. No regrets though, I'm really enjoying the game, never thought I would be into it as much as I have been. I'm level 3 and I know I havent really gotten to the full pontential of the game. Anyone seen any pick ups besides plants on the tower?

BTW: Snowy and foggy for me, so I cant get a good look from the top...yet

There is a ring that gives you +5 to all your spellcasting attributes in the jewlery box near the bed.

Nice. Thanks!

Wow, just finished purchasing everything to complete this quest. This is awesome. I can now make magic items and make my own spells. This game is so deep.

This game scares me. I get 3-4hrs of sleep eveytime I play, once I touch it its hard to put down.

I've played about 2-3 hours every day except like 3-4 days since this game came out. I'm at hour 80, I keep seeing/learning new stuff every day, and I'm not one but tired of this game. Once school is over, I am going to play this game 2342309 hours a week. Best $4.21 I ever spent.
