Does anyone know when the Employee Appreciation Week is for Barnes and Noble/Gamestop? Does the discount work for pre-orders? Is it automatically rung up?

I just started working, so I haven't even been briefed on any of that, but I'm hoping to take advantage.

Weird. I keep hearing it referenced on CAG and there are several people who have posted on various forums about it without details.

It's supposedly just an extra 10% discount on everything in addition to the already paltry employee discount.

My friend used to work at Gamestop and he did tell me of this. He asked me, as well as a few other people, if we were interested in any games and that they were 25% off, ended up getting COD4.
 
I read that it's from December 6-9 by using Google. I'm wondering if it actually works on pre-orders made during that time.

You worked at a shitty Gamestop then.

The employee appreciation weekend is coming up soon. Basically it's an extra 10% on top of the normal discount. Just ask your manager, he'll be able to tell you. In fact there should be info about it in the newest store informers. Also it doesn't work on preorders since you have to actually purchase the item for it to count, just like your normal discount.

Actually I do think I remember this. The employee discount is so shitty I forgot.
