Has anyone heard news of a sequal to epic mickey?

I just took a survey online and it began asking me about the video game tastes of my 9 year old. Then it narrowed it down and started asking if she would be interested in Epic Mickey 2. It presented me with a description of the game and a picture. It mentioned the basic plot and that it will be released for all systems.

Is this just theoretical marketing to gauge interested so they know if they should go multiplatform or do you think its already been decided?

So far im answering all the questions that my daughter would prefer to own this game on the 360 :bouncy:

Edit: Looks like im obviously not the first to get this survey, here is some news from yesterday with pics of the possible covers. http://www.wiinintendo.net/2011/08/27/survey-points-to-possibility-of-epic-mickey-2/

I haven't heard anything (except that the original didn't sell well), but I know I'd definitely buy the second game if it was on hte 360, PS3, or even if they released a version of it on the 3DS.

Basically it was a good idea that was poorly executed. I think they were betting so hard on the notiriaty of having warrent spectar working on it that no one cared to worry about making the game itself any good.

Personally I dont care if they make a second one because they shot their wad on the story and concept already.

The game was basically you walk around with a paint brush and spray color on everything and before you ask, it was more boring to play than that description makes it seem.

This sums it all up quite nicely.

Making a sequel is pointless, tedious and just yet another chance at trying to cash in on a title and beating the proverbial dead horse.

I think that they could make a good sequel without it being just a useless cash-in. My problem with the first game was that it was boring and just didn't capture my attention for any substantial amount of time, if they could just fix that in the sequel by providing more action or something I'd be all for it.
