etrian odyssey for the DS

CAGiversary!
Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me advice. I stopped by the gamestop in my area and found that they were selling a used copy of etrian odyssey, for the DS, for $9.99.

It doesn't come with the original case nor does it come with the manual, but I was wondering if it's worth it to pick it up for this price.

Thanks

I've been looking into buying a copy for a while now. From what I've seen (eBay, random video game stores, etc.), without case/manual, that's either just right or around maybe $5-10 cheaper--not taking shipping costs from purchasing online into account. Just my guess from what I've seen, and then it just depends on where you're looking obviously.

Edit: Again, just depends on where you're looking, but I've seen complete copies go from anywhere from $20-30 used.

I'm thinking of getting it tomorrow, but do you think an incomplete copy is really worth $9.99?

Thanks again

I'd probably buy it just because I've been interested in a while, $10 isn't a whole lot, and it's conveniently in-stock/in-town. Depends on how much an original case/manual mean to you and whether or not it's something you want to order or wait for to get it complete. With the price range and difference being so small I'd call it preference/paying for convenience.

If you don't mind incomplete games, then that's a great price for the game! However, if it was me, I would use the Gamestop stock locator on their website and see if any other stores have it near you, then check for complete copies at those stores. But that's just me - I like my games complete.
