2 for 9 bucks - I used to work at this store and these are all former rentals with all the requisite stickers and security tags but for 4.50 it's not that bad if you have a bottle of "googone"

If anyone is interested it's the Schnucks located at the corner of Washington Ave and Green River Road. The dvds are set up near the magazine aisle. There is a smattering of xbox and gamecube games as well.
Holy crap, a fellow Evansville-ian!!

I got a couple PS2 games about a month ago for $9...not too shabby.
yeah I know - not too bad, eh?

I'm currently working at the Book and Music Exchange on Diamond Ave and have a thread on that in the "Midwest Deals" section of the forum if you guys are interested - plenty of great stuff there at that store!
Hmm well i'm also from the area, small world hugh?
Yeah I know - I've already come across a few CAGers on the forum from the area but never any IRL - maybe someone will follow through with their promise and come down to my store sometime. Just my opinion but I think our store has some pretty good variety and deals :)
Well, I may be kind enough to introduce myself next time I'm there... you'll know who I am - I'll be the one buying the Sega games.
if it's dreamcast I'd hold off for a few weeks - word is that they will be doing the first dreamcast repricing in nearly 4 years soon. As soon as I get confirmation I'll post in my Book and Music Exchange thread how much of a difference, what games are available and how many of each (if I have time to do so)

Intriguing...

I'm also on the hunt for a few Xbox 360 and DS games too... patience might actually pay off for a change. After all, an extra copy of Lunar 2 landed me the crown jewel of Objectiony Goodness... ;)

I might have to check this out too. When I'm in the area, I usually just go to McVan's and buy every $1 copy of Shaq Fu they have. Finding creative ways to destroy them is a great way to entertain yourself for a brief period.

Try Premiere for cheap ex-rental DVDs. I wait until they drop down to $5 before buying them (the Green River Road branch is the best by FAR) But you need to check often as they put prices down, then when they sell they put them back up again. A few weeks ago I grabbed The Simpsons Movie, Shrek 3, Santa Clause 3, Rush Hour 3 and a whole bunch more for $5.

Even better, some of the other premiere branches have a but 2 get 1 free sale, so older stuff (like say Number 23, Premonition) only work out to be $3.33 each, you can't go wrong with that.

I can't remember how much we sell Shaq-Fu for but all of our Genesis games are BOGOF - might be worth your while to check that out as well :)
