External Hard Drive

My Best Buy has some great clearance deals on external hard drives. Probably just this Best Buy with the specials, but might not hurt to stop at Best Buy if you have one near you. At mine the clearance external drives are on an endcap close to the regularly priced hard drives.

They have several portable drives, but 1TB is the largest. The desktop drives are all Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex hard drives.

$54 STAC1500100 1.5TB USB 2.0 (upgradable to USB 3.0 with adapter you can buy online)
$90 STAC2000106 2TB USB 3.0
$105 STAC3000102 3TB USB 3.0

I picked up one of the $54 drives since it has great reviews while the others have mixed reviews. Great price for 1.5TB even if it is only USB 2.0 out of the box.

prob bad etiquette to do this but aem can you pm me id love to have you pick me up a few of those 1.5s as thats a ridic deal

Those are some good prices on HDDs. I'd personally go for the 3TB since it's $3 cheaper than buying two 1.5TB drives. Saves on USB space and has a faster USB speed out of the box.

The only problem is they're Seagate drives, and not the amazingly wonderful WD drives you can drop off a bookshelf without losing data. The last Seagate I bought was an internal Barracuda for the family PC, and some nude pics of an ex somehow became locked on the drive. You could still view the previews, but it's like the drive lost the physical location of where they were stored and you couldn't delete them...try explaining homemade softcore to your parents at 16.
