Good price on a game that's looking to be a pretty good game. I already preordered mine at GameRush for $30. Too bad this doesn't come with the bonus disc.
 
Great price but I will go ahead and wait as I have begun doing over the last couple of years for that magic $19.99 GH price. Just began Knights of the Old Republic so I will be busy for awhile. Also still working on season 1 in MVP Baseball 2004 which is awesome!!! Thanks for the heads up though. Great price for those who do not want to wait. :D

How is waiting a year really worth 10 dollars in savings?

Either way, 31 is almost enough to make me purchase this game.

Well when you already have 20 unopened games why bother buying it for $30 when I will be able to get it for $20 or $15 with GGC.

One game I will most likely purchase without the wait is GTA San Andreas. If the first two are any indications on how long I will be playing this game alone.....I can withstand the wait for the price drop. Will also be picking up Socom II, Jak II and Ratchet and Clank II this coming week with the new price drops. Fable looks awesome but I will wait....waited all this time for KOTOR. :)
 
I bet Microsoft did something about Fable's sale price everywhere. I don't think this is a coincidence that so many places have it on sale. This way, Fable will sell more and Microsoft can have someting to brag about even with its disappointing reviews.

Not bad review scores at all.
 
Well, you could get it for 40.63 with overnight shipping. Their overnight shipping is great. They even ship on saturday too.
 
Man! Outpost is doing some great deals for new games. Hopefully they'll be selling SMT Nocturne for $40 or less with free shipping or one can hope. ;-)

While those aren't normally disappointing scores, by any stretch of the imagination...when the game is Fable, a game praised for years as the game to end all games, I can see how some would say it's a bit of a disappointment.
 
Since the Donkey Konga snafu, I'm skeptical about prices like these. Does anyone know if Outpost is good on their prices and how are they on pre-orders? Also do they charge you before they ship (a la Best Buy)? Also where are they located/shipping from?

Every Wednesday I see Fry's ads all the time on reduced video game prices. This does not mean the game sucks. I've seen some damn good games listed, my favorite of which was Fight Night 2004.

Hi:

I could not get free shipping when I ordered online so around 8:40 I called and gave the sku # of fable to the order rep and she gave me the free shipping over the phone. I would definitely call and see if the price is still $30.99. She said several people were calling because they could not get the free shipping online.

Sad if it's dead. Never even got it's front-page-fame. I'm guessing Cheapy didn't want to because of the GameStop deal.

I got mine ordered, however I recieved a email already from outpost saying that my order total is 49.99 gonna email/call them tomorrow will post my findings.
