fable or sudeki

cheapgamer11

CAGiversary!
i want to pick up one or the other, i've read reviews, but i was wondering how people like what they've played (sudeki)

thanks,

hM

Sudeki was medicore , a flawed fighting system, cliche story and horrible dialouge. Only thing it had going for it was graphics.

fable is gonna be awsom just look at some of the trailers and developer interveiws. i think after whtching them you will agree with me

I'd wait for Fable to come out and get reviewed. From what I've read though, Sudeki is medicore at best, so unless Fable really bombs, go with that.

I would say Fable. Although if you are really into RPGs, Sudeki. Fable is supposed to be a lot more action-mission based from what I've heard from the playable build. Although the story rocks and the graphics are as good as they seem. I liked Sudeki. I rented it ($2.00 rental...) and it was worth $20-$30...

Sudeki. Look, Fable will do fine without your help at launch, but if you want JP-style RPGs to flourish on MS consoles you've got to support the fledgling efforts, even if it means getting stank-ass games here at the beginning.

Fable's going to rock your pant's off.

I've played the Sudeki demo and it's "so-so". The fighting's unique but other than that...I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

But there's nothing wrong with getting both. I'd get Fable and by the time your done with it...Sudeki'll be around $20.

By all means, support bad games in the hopes of better games in the future. Yep, can't see any problems with that plan.

off topic sorry but anyone else feel me on how difficult viewtiful joe is? I mean do i really have to go alllll the way back to the beginning after losing 3 lives

I guess you just don't care about RPGs on Xbox as much as me. And since when is a 75% gamerank a bad game?
like knights? Love fable!
Knights as in armor wearing guys from the middle ages? Or knights as in KOTOR?. If you mean Kotor, Fable has... nothing to do with that game, its not the same sort of mission structure, the same time of combat, the same time of game at all. (And I realize both had good/evil choices.. but a small thing like that does not make them similar games)

yes i was stating the choices between good and evil and open ended game. If you liked kights of the old republic you will probily love fable.

You understand Kotor was barely an open-ended game.. whereas that is one of Fable's big selling points? As well as Kotor's battle system being turn-based whereas Fable's is action-rpg style. Kotor has a team, Fable is you only. Kotor is supported by the huge Star Wars fan base, Fable is a new franchise. Kotor has a minor good/evil thing going on.. the game doesn't really change.. in Fable, the entire game can change based on which way you go. Etc, etc, etc.

Basically, saying if you liked Kotor, you'll like Fable... is pretty risky, many many people that loved Kotor may hate Fable. They're very dissimilar.

Agh

Point taken!

What I ment was..

If you even remotely liked kotor ( leaveing the star wars out)

You will in most cases like Fable. Being that it is more open ended, More good evil choices, more action based fighting.

I heard Fable wasnt gonna be all that great, then again i could be wrong, I'll go check the game info out again since you fellow cheapassers say its gonna be good.

My only complaint about sudeki is its been really easy so far.

I guess I care more. When you buy a bad game, that just supports the production of more bad games.

I don't go by rankings. I judge by my own experience with the game. Even if I went by ranking though (wherever you got that from), 75% would be pretty low. Gaming media always pumps up ratings. A heavily promoted game such as Sudeki usually is hyped into the 90's.

And by a grading curve, 75% would be a C. That's hardly a good grade.

Sudeki is short, has clunky mechanics, and a poorly conceived storyline that doesn't make any sense.

You've bought and played through it already?

KOTOR is no where open ended like Fable will be, KOTOR had two versions of the story which was good and bad, which no matter what choices you made could be taken back at the very end where only one choice has any real effect on the story. It was a great game, but not open ended like you say it is. And Fable, if it does what is promised, will be very very good, and Sudeki did nothing that it promised and is very very bad, not even the same calibur of game.

Someone posted here earlier about how Fable got a 9.7 from OXM and Sudeki received a 7.9. Dunno if he was lying or not, but sounds like Fable is the obvious choice.

Well i recommend Fable. I beat Sudeki, good game, not worth $50. Get fable man, i sorta think it's silly your actually questioning this. BUT LISTEN whatever you do don't buy Kabuki Warriors, the chick in my SIG just had picked up the game and God opened a portal to hell for her to fall into. NO to kabuki warriors understood?

got maynard?

He's lying. Kabuki Warriors is a good game and rare. That's why he doesn't want you to have it, he wants a copy for himself. If you ever see it for under $70 you buy as many copies as you can.

Am I the only one still on the fence about Fable? It looks good, I guess I just lost interest when it started to show that it wasn't going to be as it was first hyped.

I think a lot of people are feeling that they'll wait for it to come down from $50. You're not alone.

Since the discount plan for all games other than Halo and Madden has been less than 12 months I will wait for it to come down to $20.

I still have 15 sealed Xbox games to play and 6 sealed gamecube games.

I will probably pick up Sudeki as well when it is under $20 too.

Sudeki, I think has a unique combat system. I will definatly be picking it up, but it will have to reach bargin bin prices first.

Fable isn't even out yet. You can't say it's going to be great, or even better than Sudeki for that matter. Wait for a review or rent it on release. Sudeki wasn't that great of a game. Easily worth a rental though.
