Fake Wii Box?

This may be me over analyzing the item, not sure.

I bought A Boy and His Blob brand new off a seller on Ebay.

The side of the box(opposite the spine) that you open has a square gap in it.

None of my other white wii boxes look like it except the aftermarket box i bought for Muramamsa(which I thought was fake when I acquired it 3 months ago).

Now, it could be that other boxes in my Wii collection are Nintendo developed/published games, so the boxes are different(doubtful).

Anyone know for sure?

Should I send it back?

I think it's probably legit. I just picked it up from Sears ($4.97!) and the whole square isn't cut out, but it is some.

$5 0.o

Sweet.

Thanks for the reply!!

As long as I didnt get screwed(which if you got from Sears and your box has something similar, its prolly legit like you said).

My nerves are back.

I just bought a whole buttload of game cases(most w/ artwork and manual)and a bunch of the Wii ones had those holes in the side of them. I think they're something like a security lock like rental stores use(like those big yellow strips fit into in the Blockbuster cases).

You have nothing to worry about.

We have a winner.. this is the correct answer

The original case may have broken and that might be the replacement. It's not a big deal, as long as the game, manual, and insert are official, it doesn't mean anything. It's better than a jewel case.

Trust me, bro! I don't use Ebay a lot because Ebay is a lot of lies. My best friend got a few fake games from Ebay sellers. -_-

Though the correct rental place would've been Hollywood, since Blockbuster's go down the spine rather than over the disc.
