Gimmick
A really neat Sunsoft release. I think it's more well known now, but more people need to give it a shot. Excellent gameplay and music.
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
What a great 2.5D platformer. It's not the most difficult, but it is fun to play and experience. The less you know going in, the better.

A JRPG that got buried with all the other amazing JRPG's on the PS1. Great music and gameplay.
