**sorry guys**

First time poster, and this is probably old news, but if anyone's still holding out for Feel the Magic I saw a few copies today lingering at the $9.99 price, which isn't so special but use the $5 off coupon and it's $4.99 + tax.

wouldn't it be $4.99?

but thanks for the reminder, i have a bunch of $5 off coupons, and a $3 off receipt for taking one of their surveys.

now if only they stocked good DS games.....
is this game any good? i'm debating making the trip to kmart to pick it up for $6
It's $6 good. Not $20 good, but $6 good for sure.

If you pay $10 or under for this game its good. Dont expect much replay value from it though.

the games are perfect for keepin you busy; they're quick, short, fun, and there are a lot of them (I'm not even done with the game and I can play around 20). Well worth the $5.

Thanks Cribbs, yep it's $4.99...
I can't do the maths @_@

TRU TS has an off and on selection of games, although sometimes they deliver when no one else has a title, as it is kind of the last place anyone looks. Otherwise they rarely have any deals price-wise.

I don't go there often because:
1. It's in Times Square
2. The store itself is a big tourist trap, understandably
3. They seem to have a manager in the games dept that's a bit too in the know. A while back when Trauma Center was short in supply in various stores they had a bunch retailing at $32.99. An odd price point and it wasn't because they were sitting on prime real estate as all other prices were SRP. Needless to say I wasn't pleased, but before the $5 off coupon they had 15 copies sitting around when other stores had nothing.

The one redeeming factor is that at least two or three of the salespeople in the games dept. there are absolutely and totally awesome. They go a bit above and beyond the asking for your age if you look young for M rated titles routine. One explained the ESRB rating in full and asked for confirmation of understanding when a mom reached checkout for San Andreas, and another set some Irish dude straight when he was trying to buy ps2 games by asking if he has a modded ps2, and when told no explained the whole NTSC and PAL difference.

I guess I'll keep an eye out in that region--sometimes Virgin has some interesting titles still lying around as well.

Feel the Magic was the best launch title for the DS. It's a great game, and I probably paid $30 for it. Definitely worth it nowadays that its dropped so much in price, especially if you like wacky Japanese games.
