Filter out reviews/pickups from blogs?

Way to filter out game reviews from the blog view?

Too many people don't use the review section and just post pick-ups and reviews in their blogs which makes it hard to read actual blogs.

Is there some way I can have an option to filter out those blogs I don't wish to be in my view/feed/whatever?

It seems like this would be very easy to implement.

I would imagine the easiest way to do it would be to add some global categories to blogs (not sure if this is already done) but then you'd have to hope everyone who writes a review or pickup post in their blog selects the appropriate category.

Wouldn't it just be simpler to skip over review/pick-up blog posts like you would every other blog post you're not interested in reading?
 
when you say load maybe 10-15 blogs at a time per page and 8-10 of them are reviews of games you beat already, it gets frustrating.

there already is a way to tag blogs, so all i ask is we are allowed to filter by tags and we enforce bloggers to use said tags. it's pretty simple.

That would be easy enough. Personally I enjoy reading reviews/pickups. The review section doesn't do the reviews much justice.
