long demo from what i hear...i have a buddy at another forum that has played it for 3-4 hours

i got my 10 minutes in, ran around the first scenario of the demo and beat the adamantium tortoise and considered myself done with the demo

i enjoy the fighting system, and thats all that i wanted to see from the demo...plus DQ8 was waiting...much rather play that than any demo :)
 
Sorry. I'm not going to pay $20 for a 2-hour demo, when I can get the full 50-hour game for the same price (in 2006 - via a cheapass deal).

Its not even a 2 hour demo, the demo is very short. Your better off finding someone with it and borrowing it for a day, or even going to their home and beating it there within 30 minutes.
 
I'm glad you brought that up. Over at digitpress.com they are passing around a free copy of the demo. All it costs you is ~$3 in shipping
