Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles anyone?
I hear ya daph my girl only likes gameshow games like family feud wheel of fortune monopoly party crap like that its fun for me for like 2 seconds but she enjoys it. hopefully the time playing with her will give me some me time with FF:CC.
Hey everyone please just take this as a serious option....

Get a cube and get Mario Party 4. No joke its a blast. I had this game (from a trade) and never played ot fro like 3-4 months after owning it.

I put it in one night and have sold 5 cubes on that game alone. Seriously my wife absolutely loves the game... She was a little into gaming previously but the game is a pure blast. and I am not ashamed to say i play it....

Also yes animal crossing has worked on her and a few others.

It's funny you mentioned Mario Party 4. I actually rented it from Blockbuster and we had a blast with it. I'd pick it up if Nintendo would drop the damned price! $50 is way to expensive for my tastes...

Mario Party 4 is a great game. Good news daphatty, you can get the game and not have to spend $50. It's $34.99 at ebgames.com with free shipping.
I also like the idea of working co-op. I have heard it is similar to Secret of Mana, which is my all-time favorite game, so I'm excited to finally get a change to play in a few days.
Cool! I would say Secret of Mana is probably in my top 5 games ever. It's certainly my favorite SNES game. There just aren't many multiplayer RPGs (especially action/RPGs, which I prefer to boring turn-based traditional ones like most Final Fantasy games), and I look forward to trying this one out.

and bring a Saturn A/V cable too so I can kick your a$$ on old school VF 2 and Guardian Heroes.
You are sooo on!
Where the hell do you guys live? I live in the DC area too. :)

Ok...maybe if I keep saying it, someone will come and play. Anyone near the Jacksonville, NC area? My wife does not like any games I play. I want to play with or against others. I got FF:CC, 1 GBA, 1 GBASP and 2 link cables...c'mon, any takers....free food...uhm, you can sleep on the couch...yes, no...dang.

this is why sega shouldn't have gone outta business with them consoles their joystick w/screen was the bomb. Why don't they sell the patent to gamecube or is gamecube want to you shell out 400.00 bucks for your 4 kids to play. Scam to me. How is the game anyway.

My wife hates the bonus objectives. Hell, she just flat out ignores them. I really wish Square had included a little more training with the chalice because she and my brother are horrific at doing both fighting and carrying.

Other than that. its good.
