yes, i played it when i was a kid on family computer (red&white one) and I played VI on super nintendo family computer.

It's just that a lot of people say 3 when they mean 6. Squaresoft really messed up the numbering system. So, since you're like the only person who's played 3.... tell us a little about it, will ya?

People act like knowing Japanese really helps that much. The only thing I ever use Japanese for is to get better menus at restaurants...

Nice collection, but I already own the PSX versions. I hope they release 3 with another game, like Secret of Mana or Dragon Warrior 4.

oh well, i am pretty sure I am not the only one have played it. I was playing that when I was 10 or 11 (can't even remember, and now I am 25~ wow~ what a long time) I am not sure how people can actually messed up with FFIII and FFVI, it's kinda impossible.

I played in Japanese, and I don't think there are any releases in English (oh well, FF only started to get translated to english after FFVII). All I remember is that there are 4 main characters, where the theme is about the crystal (so as FFIV and also a side release of FF after IV and before V, this side release is not well-known and it was a tatics RPG that I remembered it was also on the old red&white family computer). In FFIII, you can choose and switch jobs for the characters, just as FFV.

It seems that no much people knows about the old FF but the FF's after VII...oh well~ I can't wait for this FFI.II and FFXII which is coming soon~

hey btw~ it is nice to see that you use the word Squaresoft instead of SquareEnix~

First of all, you are off topic. Moreover, of cos you won't need Japanese as you are such a self-contained person that would not be able to do anything great in your life anyway~ not to mention you could actually possibly learn other languages. other than english that you need for calling pizza, you don't really need anything else

btw, i am not an american, i am here just to know the status of the current north america gaming industries and to get updated what is hot over there. I understand 4 languages and so what~? I don't mean to offense, but to you such a unrespectful annoying dummy, i don't think the word respect is appropriate here  don't cry dump ass, don't get your mom mad by asking her why you are so dump, she won't be able to answer you :D

Uh...FFIII on the SNES is the Japanese FFVI. It was only the third FF game in the US though, so they called it FFIII.

FF was translated into English from the very first game. The only FF game to never be translated (officially) into English is the original Japanese FF III.

haa, ppls calling the 3rd release in US to be FFIII, that's kinda stupid. I am not sure, i think the first FF translated to english is FFVII, then the other FF's getting translated too after that, anyway

Nintendo and/or Square made the decision to re-number the US release of FFVI and call it FFIII. Not normal people, the companies involved made that decision.

And once again, the very first FF game was translated into English about 15 years ago and released for the NES. FF IV was also translated and released for the SNES but it was called FFII here in the US, due to the reasons above.

FFVII was the FOURTH FF game to be translated into English.
