I am not sure when it will be translated and release to the north america but I am gonna get it right away as I really want to play these old FF that I have missed them when I was a kid

yes, i played it when i was a kid on family computer (red&white one) and I played VI on super nintendo family computer.

People act like knowing Japanese really helps that much. The only thing I ever use Japanese for is to get better menus at restaurants...

I played in Japanese, and I don't think there are any releases in English (oh well, FF only started to get translated to english after FFVII). All I remember is that there are 4 main characters, where the theme is about the crystal (so as FFIV and also a side release of FF after IV and before V, this side release is not well-known and it was a tatics RPG that I remembered it was also on the old red&white family computer). In FFIII, you can choose and switch jobs for the characters, just as FFV.
It seems that no much people knows about the old FF but the FF's after VII...oh well~ I can't wait for this FFI.II and FFXII which is coming soon~ :lol:

First of all, you are off topic. Moreover, of cos you won't need Japanese as you are such a self-contained person that would not be able to do anything great in your life anyway~ not to mention you could actually possibly learn other languages. other than english that you need for calling pizza, you don't really need anything else
btw, i am not an american, i am here just to know the status of the current north america gaming industries and to get updated what is hot over there. I understand 4 languages and so what~? And once again, the very first FF game was translated into English about 15 years ago and released for the NES. FF IV was also translated and released for the SNES but it was called FFII here in the US, due to the reasons above.
