On January 6, 2012, Square Enix will finally start charging players a subscription fee

Yup, before they start adding the big improvements, that has to wait until the PS3 version launch.

There is supposed to be another free trial month for all players once the PS3 version of the game is released. I might revisit the game again at that time, but no way would I pay a monthly fee for this game now. The small improvements that have been implimented so far are not worth it IMHO. And from what I've experienced, the "improvements" done so far are very, very minor--this game still feels like a beta to me.
