I don't live in the Northeast, so I can't help you. But if you'd like to drive to Wyoming, they have thousands of stands on the borders with Colorado. Seeing as fireworks are illegal here. :bomb:

I wish i can. But i don't have the time to drive that far away.
I know few stores in my area sell some firework but they only have the baby stuff.

i'm in nj and am interested also
those pa locations are in walmarts
sounds like kid fireworks if they are in a walmart

I think the closest state to NJ where you can get "real" fireworks is South Carolina.

oh, didn't know that, here in the california if varies by county, like 90% of counties have banned them but i live next to one that doesn't

In Iowa fireworks, except sparklers are illegal, but 80 miles south of me in Missouri they aren't. We have already made one Missouri run this season, and will probably make another!

I live not to far from Philly, and I know most fireworks are illegal in PA (that is without a permit). I believe this is the same situation in NJ and DE too. Hey there's always sparklers and snakes, they are still legal.

One of the few good things Jesse "The Moron" Ventura did for our state was making fireworks legal. If you know where to go in MN you can find some of the really good BIG ones for cheap. :D

But yeah... can't wait for 4th of July this year. Gonna fire up some good ones this year, since I got plenty of leftovers from last year (that I kept in a cool dry place during winter). Plus hopefully there will be another CC $4.99 sale like last year. :D

Yeah but the "legal" ones are too kiddy. That's why you still have to go to Wisconsin to get the good ones. The good part is that they don't run their sting operations to catch people doing this anymore though.

Very true, hell they don't really even try to stop people from using them anymore either. Don't get why they won't let us buy em in the state... I mean since they don't stop us from using em.

Most of the Indian res's will have the good stuff since they they don't have to follow state laws. Benefits of a sovereign nation.

Good point. I didn't think of that. I'm sure there's some in upstate New York.

Fireworks are illegal in ohio as well. I don't understand why they are illegal. there are fun as shit. Here is the thing you can buy them in ohio when you go to the store you sign a piece of paper saying that you are taking them out of the state, but no one evers does. almost everyone lets them off and the police roll around and just tells everyone to be safe. no tickets nothing, that is cool to me.

I believe fireworks are illegal in NY as well. Closest in Northeast that allows Class 1 or A fireworks (i.e. ones that actually explode or launch) would be to go to New Hampshire, but be careful of how much you buy because it is illegal to transport them out of state, so if you get an overzealous state trooper, staking out a fireworks shop near the NH border line the penalties are fairly extreme (I spoke with a fireworks seller in CT who can only sell sparkling, non-aerial fireworks) that the penalty is loss of the fireworks, plus $100 or $50 per piece of illegal fireworks. If you bought them with the intent to sell, then there's jail time thrown in too.

Don't mean to rain on your celebration. It can be done, but just be careful as the saying goes.

I just found a place in MD that sell fireworks.
If anyone live in Philly and want to buy some fireworks should give it a try. Just PM me

But there is a $200 min purchase on that place.

Here is what i brought

In Mass you can't have them, not even sparklers, like anyone cares. if the cops see you with them they don't care, unless you blow your hand off, then you go to jail.

But all the time people go to Hampton Beach NH, right over the Mass border and send up hundreds.

I was going to see some yesterday, but my boyfriend had a wedding so we are gonig on Friday hopefully.

My friend works at Phantom and he gets about 60% off (plus he knows what all the cool stuff is). I usually tell him to pick men up about 80-100 bucks worth, and I end up having one hell of a show.

Someone directed me to Phantom before but it was kinda far away from where i live.
Although the place i went to is in MD but it is only about 40 miles away from where i live. While the closest Phantom is about 70 miles away from me.
But i got a pretty good discount today too.
They gave me a firework that they sell for $40 a piece for free.
And i think they forgot to charge me for $50 dollars worth of firework too.

Here in miami we drive every year to miami beach and throw $100 + of kick ass fireworks , they are totally legal here as a matter of fact there is a firework stand in every corner !

I made a trip to NH this year, no problems. Just don't drive up, shop, and get back on the highway going south. We went to dinner down the road in Seabrook to kill a couple of hours. No way a trooper is going to wait around for you for hours.

Weird as 'real' fireworks are illegal in MD AFAIK. (I'm from there.)

We had some puny little M-60s or something last year and I'm pretty sure they are even illegal in MD. (Bro picked them up in one of the Carolinas IIRC.) Plenty of people were setting off semi-decent ones, but I figured they all bought them in other states.

My sister-in-law started working at TNT this year and they get a 40% discount for family and friends. She was going to buy some and her boss said don't because they would be giving her a box full of stuff. We all get together and do fireworks so this means more money for beer.
