Ideally I want to cut my collection almost in half, hopefully you guys will help me to do that. :D

You might want to be clearer with your contest. Placing a bid for a time? What exactly do you mean a bid? Also, I'm assuming you only get one choice.

It just doesn't seem conventional. You may try something a little more basic than picking a time... next time.

I thought I was making it fairly clear. I'm just trying to encourage bidding. I'm not asking to bid ON a time, but to bid in a certain time period, hoping your bid will be close to the chosen (random) time.

As I try to explain it, it starts to sound pretty lame. I'll think of something else I guess. Oh well.

I feel ya on that brother, but I just think there are better ways to go about it.

I don't think what you did was lame, I just think it wasn't the best approach for a forum. Not everyone's on 24/7, ya know? I think the best approach is to offer benefits to high bidders. That way everyone can be a part of it, and you give that extra incentive to bid.

Just my 2¢.
