First wave PSP games on sale at Walmart!

I dropped into Walmart for a few random things today, and stumbled into the game section seeing as this is the time of the year for obscene deals. I got Indigio Prophecy for 18 bucks, and then saw that the first wave PSP games were on sale too! I was very surprised, I figured they'd only start dropping prices on those in January/February. I'm getting a PSP for XXX-mas this year so I decided to stock up while the gettin' was good, and got Wipeout and Virtua Tennis. Not games I was really looking for, but hey, cheap games are awesome. I was really surprised that they had recent games like The Con and Virtua Tennis for sale, those are pretty recent releases. Anyway, checking out the Walmart on the other side of town tomorrow, hopefully with similar results.

Unfortunately, most Walmart deals are YMMV. That having been said, I think its at least worth a little bit of time to check and see if my local walmart has any similar deals.

Also, what kind of christmas are you having that's a XXX-mas?
 
Sorry, dumb mistake: Wipeout was 18.69, Virtua Tennis 16.89. Mostof the titles were 18.69

And it's alwasy a XXX-mas, I've called it that for years, it just makes me feel more festive.

Completely reducing the birth of our lord and savior to a sub-par pornographic joke makes you feel more festive?

On a side note.. I wish my Wal-Mart would put Indigo Prophecy on sale that cheap, that game is AWESOME.

I do not celebrate Christmas in the Christian context, I just see it as a family holiday in general. I also don't care about Christianity or its values in the slightest, so I'm quite comfortable with my profainity.

Anyway, back on topic: what pushes the cost of a game in the store to be brought down, anyway? Is it just that they need to free up stock of games that didn't move? Are the cheapies shipped to them from other stores that couldn't move them? I imagine after a few months that first wave of games will be found in second hand shops more regularly at least...

ANY type of religious comment should NOT come up on a website like this. Sorry just my opinion. I do like Scorch's smartass comments, I just know with that comment it could have lead somewhere else. Then before you know it everyone is arguing. That's all I meant.

Actually its a fact that Jesus was not born on december, there is no info anywhere in your bibles that say that was the day.
 
Unless I can go to Canada and buy a lord and savior bundled with sub-par pornography for $16.89, this thread sucks (not because of the OP).

Sorry my offhand use of XXX started a silly debate that isn't going anywhere. Let's all agree to disagree. And secondly, I'm very disappointed that my first thread on this forum ended up involving such hostility.

Regardless, cheap PSP games are fantastic.
 
im going to hit up the fort wayne coldwater store tomorrow to see if they got any...

does the PSP have any rpgs out there... planning on picking up the PSP sunday from TRU for 187.50 using my AMEx 25% off coupon

I don't think you offened ANYONE with the xxx bit.

And if you think this thread had hostility, just head to the VS. forum. You can actually feel the hatred radiate from your monitor.


Not bad for your first thread. You had a compelling protagonist and an obstacle for him to overcome. It was a nice little narrative --beginning, middle, and end. Some friends became enemies, some enemies became friends. And in the end, the main character was richer for the experience.

I was sad when the dog died though. :( But he saved the orphans from the wolverines! And then he went to doggie heaven, where there were milk bones galore!

Hmm... 2 things.
1. Off Topic - He was not antagonistic. (Defined as "trying to stir to wrath") He was merely making a question as well as a commentary on his views. There are TONS of commentaries on this web site, so what is the problem here? I can actually make a bigger case about the XXX not needing to be mentioned than you can make about religion not being mentioned.

2. On Topic - Walmart in Newport TN is usually pretty good about deals. The one in Columbia MD is HORRIBLE. They would rather just jam everything on the last shelf, and just hope it gets stolen... arghh.. Walmarts in MD stink.

oh wait... that last point was a commentary on my views of Walmart. Please disregard that...

Who is the OUR that you speak of??
Because to me Christmas is Santa Claus' birthday, and since he gets so many presents, he passes them out to us as a kind gesture...
