Flea Market Finds 05/30/04

Since starting my job (3 weeks ago) I've haven't had a chamce to hit up my local flea market. Luckly I started a little later today, which allowed me to make a visit.

Now I was bummed about the whole Best Buy ordeal. Not only because I missed out on any $5 games, but the whole trade forum turned into one giant BB trading clusterfuck. Luckliy for me this one half hr visit totally made up for it.

My finds

THP2 (GBA)(cart only): $5
Wario World: $10

yes I know I paid double the BB price for WW but it was a steal none-the-less. the 2 GBA games were a little jakked up, but played fine (which is all I care about)

to date I have exactly 30 GBA games. You here that punqsux? I'm catching up :D!

good luck beating cotm....dracula is IMPOSSIBLE!
 
actually I beat COTM and sold right around the time it came out.

Dracula is a bitch to beat but I came up with a full proof method... unfortnatly I forgot what it was :p

It had something to do with the high jump and the room having a roof you could hit.
 
... Why do people think COTM is hard? I mean, once you get that Summon card everything's in the bank. You don't even need the Unicorn card ( for healing ) though that does make it even easier.

if I remember correctly you hand to imput directional commands (like street fighter) in order to use those sumon cards, and I suck at trying to do half/ quarter circles on the gba's d-pad.
 
ok, here is how to beat the drac master:

make sure you have the CROSS
in his first form, the part of him that flashes is the attack that he does.
The snakes on his shoulders: the laser fire thing. Stand on a far ledge and you will be ok i think.
The things at his feet: Sends out poisonous bubbles. Use your whip crircle to dispel those baddies
His hand: Oh shit, It;s the meteor shower. all you can really hope for is that it doesnt come to this, or use a card combo for invincibility, or fire absorbtion.

In these parts, you want to go for the eye with the cross. Try to get far enough away from the eye so that the cross hovers on the eye for its endpoint, thatway you get the most damage in.

Part two: Flaming Dracula
This part is ten times easier than it seems. All you need to do is be able to succesfuly use your high jump. You need to be standing on a ledge. When dracula appears in front of you, jump once and he will mimic your movement and get ready to charge. Then on the downswing of your jump, maybe a second and a half before dracula comes at you, use your high jump and he won't be able to adjust to it. Once you get the pattern down, this will never hit you.

The tough part now is when dracula comes as the eye. It will come from somewhere, I can't remember, but you can usually get a couple of cross hits on it each time.

Keys to defeating dracula:
Never use your whip except for when you have to get rid of the fling poison bubbles
CROSS CROSS CROSS
lump, high jump repeat
Pray he doesnt send the meteors flying.

With this, and a gba sp, you can beat the count in no time at all.
