For all of you having trouble trading in doubles at your Eb, prepare to be angry

So i previously trade in 6 games to ebgames getting 36.50 (spent 22 at TRU). Today I drove over to TRU again and saw a vast amount of primals green tagged. I bought ten of them (about 8 were left so dont say Im hoarding) and headed down to ebgames which is about 5 minutes away. I go into the store and the same clerk (arthur) is there, hes always cool with me on trade ins and deals. I cascade my primals on the counter with a big smile on my face. He responds saying wow David what a nice variety you have brought me today, he proceed to ring them all up netting me 55 bucks (spent 16). That was added to my original card giving me 91.50(for about 40). The I bought the punisher and my final total is 41.51. *Stretches* Yeaaa any questions?
 
someone has to remember this thread next year when people are trading in 20 copies of the punisher for store credit

ahh.. so you traded 10 cheap copies of a so-so game for one copy of a more expensive but crappier game?

too bad we don't have a Deal Discussion and Shame Acceptance forum.

i did, and then i mailed Gamefly 64 cents since I felt so guilty for making them waste postage on sending to me.

Seriously, I can't believe you spent $50 on The Punisher--- a game that will no doubt be a $10 bargain bin title within the next month. What the shaq-fu were you thinking?

Demos are the way to go. $0.50 --> $5.25 each. Definitely a better margin than Primal. Spending $40 for about $90 isn't that great of a margin, in my opinion at least.
 
Ugh, what a waste. You just screwed 10 people out of getting Primal, for THE PUNISHER!? Why didn't you just fucking burn the money?

i enjoy the comic book and the movie adaptation of the punisher... the game is not a 50 dollar game i'll wait till it at least breaks 29 before i even look into getting it.. the demo was pretty cool.. but it didn't want to make me want to buy the game... shit for the 50 bucks you could have easily went to their PO games and picked out at least 3 games that would have been better than that..

I am angry, not because you got your money's worth with EB, but that Zewone scored some cheap kills off of me in Halo 2. Kill whore

Thomas Jane has a great physique and all, but he simply was not big or imposing enough to bring Frank Castle to life. The movie was simply ok, an average to below average B-movie (still better than the old Dolf Lungren adaptation though), and the game is simply ok as well. An average game isn't deserving of a full $50 retail price though, even when using credit.

Save your $50 credit for a more worthwhile game like RE4, San Andreas or Halo 2, or better yet buy a couple of worthwhile Greatest Hits, Platinum Hits or Players Choice titles you previously missed out on and have some credit left over. Spending $50 credit on Punisher is just a waste.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone else in here. Bad, bad game to pick up. I played it, and hated it. Yuck...
 
I thought the Punisher was pretty good. Everyone I know who's seen it has enjoyed it as well. Guess ultra violence isn't for everyone.

FINALLY SOMEONE SUPPORTS ME, Ive played a few levels and absoultely adore this game, I plan to play through it several times. My worst purchase this month was Full Metal Alchemist which I beat in 10 hours and was very insatisfied. Ok Im going to buy the GC 1019 memory card at ebgames with the remainder on my card, then transfer all the data from my cards to that one, and trade in those for some extra.
