Force Unleashed Not Coming to the PC

CAGiversary!
Never really cared about Star Wars games, but I fear this won't be the only cool game not coming to the PC in the coming years.

Tom Clancy's End War (a futuristic MMO-type RTS) is for consoles only at this point, supposedly to force gamers to play RTS games on consoles by not giving them the PC option (which I think most people still prefer for those type of games).

Old news, but we might just get it, maybe not this year, but a year after release of the 360/ps3 versions. We are overdue for a Jedi Knight type game for a LONG TIME.

It's a shame, but what about the new GTA game? I don't even see it on pre-order listings at Gamestop. You would figure GTA would be a big game to.

Looking at the top 2007 games the PC still saw a majority of titles released unless it was put out by Nintendo or Sony. It's only a matter of time before we see Mass Effect and Halo 3 on the PC, granted Halo 3 will be much longer knowing the PC prequels release dates.

It really depends on what you want these days, but I would say grab one console of choice where you think games will stay exclusive to and you want the titles coming out around launch, and then put the rest of the money into a good PC.

Right now I'd say the Wii is the best bet in getting console exclusives because of the niche third party exclusives coming out and of course Nintendo's first party titles. However the 360 isn't a bad choice considering more and more titles are having lengthy timed exclusives or outright exclusiveness such as Lost Odessey. The Wii and 360 are both pretty low priced... just consider buying "another expensive video card" and your choices will be more rounded.

I feel for PC gamers when it comes to not getting all the ports, but the price of consoles right now isn't very expensive and it certainly gives us options who have two family members in the house that either need the PC or TV ;)
What's worse, not getting the game or getting a 3rd rate port?
Third rate port for sure. At least if a game is never released released for PC, I can imagine how awesome it might've been.

And try as I might, I just can't enjoy console games outside of platformers and jRPGs (well, the good ones at least). FPS with a controller has never - and will never - work for me. But I'm just one of those crusty PC gamer types

I completely agree, RTS's are a huge pain on consoles, so akward feeling. I think piracy is what's destroying this for us too. It's become so rampant lately it's slowing down the business for PC games and no one wants to take the plunge on putting something on the PC instead of a console because of it. It's odd though, even though I think it's ruining the PC game economy, I'm a supporter of piracy. No I don't download anything (I can't for some legal reasons that occured a few years ago  ) but I still support it. Music I don't really care about ... musicians can pay their bills when they sell out concerts. It's 50 / 50 for me though when it comes to games, if it's one I know I can get hours upon hours of enjoyment outa it I'll get it. Yet if it's a game I would only play the 3 hours of single player they offer I would consider getting it for free because it's the only way I'd play it. I wish they rented PC games at a rental store :D
It'll come out on PC at some point. I'm not worried about it. Just look at Halo. Even that managed to come out on PC.
Don't you mean Halo 2? The original Halo was supposed to be a PC game in the first place but was changed into an x-box game.

http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=647186 Looks like Gamestop updated a PC sku for End War, and the placeholder date is the same as consoles.
Old shitty news. And to think lucas arts used to be a bastion of computer gaming.
They haven't been since Rogue Squadron (I didn't think too highly of JKII).
