Found a pretty good score at GameRush today using the 5 PS1 games for $15 deal. The DDR was my main score and the rest were just added due to the deal.

Dance Dance Revolution: Konamix (absolutely perfect condition and non-GH)
Caesar's Palace (a 6 on the digitpress rarity list, also in perfect condition)
Hercules (perfect condition)
UmJammer Lammy (complete, but has scratches, I picked this up for a friend who was looking for it)
Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style (disc only and I was really just stretching to find something that looked interesting that I didn't already have)

In addition to those I was able to pick up new GH copies of Castlevania: SOTN & ChronoCross for $6.99 with the B1G1 deal.

So I ended up spending approximately $24 in store credit after taxes. Not too shabby of a trip.
I thought Konamix was the high price DDR game? if it isn't, what is?
Disney Mix is the really expensive one. I'm planning on finding that at a different GameRush tomorrow. :)
And DDR USA is sort of in between those two, worth about $40 - $60
Yep, I picked that one up for $5 during the GameCrazy sale. And I got a Red Octane 2.0 pad that I picked up used at GameRush for $15 awhile back as well. I've been having some really good DDR luck lately. C'mon Disney Mix, I know you're out there waiting for me someplace.

If you can play imports, you can get the Japanese version somewhat easier than the US version (but the Japanese game is anti mod protected). I got mine for $35 shipped off of EBay. The import also has a much better songlist (Electrical Parade and oldies songs not in the US version, to make up for those songs in the US version, they put some 4th Mix Konami originals in Disney Mix which are mostly if not all in Konamix). Only problem is that there are no maniac steps, just basic and trick

I'm confident that I'll be able to find the U.S. version of Disney Mix for pretty cheap (it just takes patience and a lot of browsing through games). After I get all the U.S. releases, then I might set my sights on some of the imports.

Nice.

I wish I could find a Konamix other than the local Gamestop charging $29.99 for used GH copies that look like they were opened and put on the shelves.

I actually saw Konamix at a local Fye's of mine (uh...southern california for those close to me) and it was a greatest hit..i don't think that's too rare now..they must've had at least 12 of them.

And I have all three! MWAHAHAHAHAAHAH!!!

I have them all as well, but unfortunately I paid MSRP for all 3 of them since I got them all when they were released. I can't remember the last time I played any of them since it's kind of hard to go back to playing the US mixes after getting used to the Japanese mixes.

If I wasn't trying to build up a huge DDR collection (25 games and counting), I would have gotten rid of them a long time ago.

I'm just dissapointed that DDR USA wasn't up to it's full potential due to licensing issues or else I would probably still play it more. Like Butterfly is actually on the game disc but not unlockable or playable.

If only Konami of Japan would allow the US DDR games to be better, since that's also the reason Konamix didn't have any licensed songs. From what I understand, Konami of Japan said to Konami of America, "You want a new DDR game between USA and Max (Disney Mix not counting)? Well, you're going to have to use all Konami original music to make it as cheap as possible"

At least they are heading in the right direction by finally giving into the request of Bemani fans and releasing Beatmania to go along with DDR.

I took advantage of the 5 Preowned PSX Games for $15 today at Game Rush (Wilsonville, Oregon, the only one in Oregon!) Looking through all the sports games, I found these:

Breath of Fire III (Disc Only)
Intelligent Cube (No Manual)
Legend of Dragoon, The (Greatest Hits)
Legend of Legaia (No Manual)
Star Ocean: The Second Story (No Manual)

Everything was in pretty scratched condition, but they all worked, except Legend of Dragoon, which looked brand new. The funny thing is, when I opened up Legend of Legaia, and extra disc was in it, and it was Azure Dreams! Paid $15.00 for 6 decent valued PSX games.

Besides that, I also purchased Mario Power Tennis, Star Fox Assault, and Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls at 50% off each. So I got them for $64.96, brand new! Besides that, i also purchased Logitech's PlayGear Pocket for my PSP, which is the best case around.

All in all, the total bill was $99.96, and with $84.56 on my value card (from previous flipping), I only paid $15.40 out of my pocket for 2 NEW GCN games, 1 NEW GBA game, 6 USED PSX games, and 1 NEW accessory. Not a bad day at all.

Konamix isn't bad...well...other than the fact that it's riddled with bugs =(

It's an ok game. If you want to collect them all or you're new to the series then DDR USA and Konamix is a good starting combo. I dunno if I could go back to old school 30 fps though.

Going back to the 30fps is difficult but seeing as how almost every arcade has the idea that all players want is Extreme (I just lost the only 5th mix in my area to an Extreme and the arcade already has an Extreme! and lost 3rd mix 2 years ago for yeah, an Extreme), it's the only way to play all the awesome songs in 3rd and 4th mix. For some reason I have no trouble with the 3rd mix game engine but the 4th mix game engine gives me a headache unless I turn the background animations off.

Just to make sure.. Konamix is the first DDR released in the US right? Is this the rare one as well? I know the Disney one is rare.. but I recall on the Gamecrazy list it's one of those games you can't put $6 on for them to find or something. Anyways nice find OP.

Nope, it is the second. There was an original "Dance Dance Revolution" game that came out first. While Konamix's cover is orange, the original DDR game's cover was blue. They were designed like that to compliment each other.

I hate when I hear about chains like this having great deals that aren't in my market. GameRush, GameCrazy, Fry's, Meijer.... I don't have any of them. Then again, every time I post a Media Play steal people are ticked they don't have one nearby.

To think I got my Konamix, original DDR and even the Disney DDR for $30-35 each not a month ago :( and you got it on a 5 for $15 deal which is half the price I paid for just one of the above. UGH! So unfair. Oh well, at least I found the Disney DDR which is going for $100-125 on eBay for $35. Horrible DDR, no ifs ands or buts however it's been my collectors steal of the year so far.
