I have seen a few of these but most of them are expired now. I'm sure there's a new one out there.

If anyone knows fill us in! Or you can PM me if you don't want it to get widespread. I only need it for my little sisters account so she can play Minecraft with her friends.

 
You cannot just do it through xbox.com

You need to log in to your actual xbox console and let it revert from gold back to silver. Then shut it down.

Then use the link on your computer to get the free month.

Try that. It should work. Hope it helps.

Doesn't work for me. Tried on all my silver accounts and it gave me the promotion not available thing. I'm pretty sure it's dead.

 
Thanks to all the folks who keep reposting the link when a simple google search would have brought up a sticky post on slickdeals with this deal. But noooo, dumbasses had to post the link everywhere ruining a great thing that lasted for months.

 
That's the 2nd step link where you confirm the purchase, but it still doesn't work. I'm pretty sure it's absolutely over with this free month offer. I could've sworn they would just last forever with them simply forgetting about it, buuuuut no, just no.
