Free Black Jack Taco @ Taco Bell on Halloween (6pm - Midnight)

Let's see...

*Halloween night
*Saturday night
*Hungry people pinching pennies in a recession
*Free food

Yep, all the ingredients for a line out the door. And I'll be in line with them. :D

Thanks OP! :applause:

Well in all reality it depends on the publicity this thing gets. If not too many people know about it, stores shouldn't get too overwhelmed.

And if there is a lot of publicity for this event, I hope Taco Bells make these things in overtime, so for people that just want this, can go to the counter get one and leave, no long wait, y'know?

I hope that the publicity is about on par with the "Steal A Base" promo they had a while back. Most baseball fans knew about it, and it was all over the internet, but there were no signs in or around the Taco Bell stores saying:

"YOU GET A FREE TACO TODAY!"

Let's hope it stays that way. My local Taco Bells are ALWAYS busy on Saturdays. Add in Halloween trafic (parents feeding the kids before trick-or-treating, adults grabbing some food before hitting parties, etc) and the usual Taco Bell Saturday madness and it will be INSANE if this is mentioned on a commercial on something.

I'm sure the amount of customers will differ depending on location, but I expect most restaurants will just be busy because it's a Saturday. National advertisement of this will just make things even crazier. Like you said, if they can instruct most restaurants to have extra Black Jack tacos made and hand out the free tacos to customers without making them wait too long, this might be really cool. But either way, I can't wait. :bouncy:

Well I was going to ask what is so great about this taco as I thought the only thing different from it and a normal taco was the shell. I might have to stop at taco bell and get one saturday.

I see it on TV in my area (Los Angeles area).

Well, if Taco Bell IS advertising, I'll be sure to get there just after 6 PM. I'm a pretty patient guy, so the wait shouldn't bother me too much. I am, however, worried that I won't have the patience to deal with antsy customers who think they'll "quickly" get food on a Saturday night (and on Halloween night, no less). I'm looking forward to seeing how this promo plays out Saturday. :D
It has pepper jack sauce(same stuff in the cheesy crunchy gordita).
Great god, that is amazing. I had wondered what was on it.. now that I know, I want to devour it in ruthless abandon.

Oh boy i see my local Jack in the box getting crowed....
It's in Taco Bell, not Jack. I also thought the same thing.
