Sorry if this doesn't belong here.. I was just about to go buy Everquest 2 for me and my fiancee but instead found that we both got it for free because of a free trial we did 3 years ago.. From what I've heard this only works with existing accounts and not ones made now.. not entirely sure though!

I was thinking about signing up again, but it looks like I'm back in for 2 months for free, thanks for the info! :)

Oh, man, a high ranking MMO for free for a month? WoW must be pulling a lot of subscribers.

This might get moved to free stuff, but I think it works just fine here. Attracts a greater audience. Thanks for the information.
 
Thanks OP. Used to play the original EQ years ago, gonna finally give EQ2 a shot. I tried the Wow trial couldn't get myself into it much. Now if there was just a age of conan free trial out there.
 
I was considering getting back into EQ2 and buying the Kunark expansion... now it is free? Awesome. I wonder if Age of Conan has spoiled me on graphics...
 
I tried this offer and gave up on it when the patch timer went from 1:15:43 to 20:45:16! I've got enough to occupy my time as it is.
 
Ok .. I feel like an idiot asking, but where is the download link on the page for the game client with the expansion pack. The only download link I see is the 14 day trial link which doesnt mention anything about having the expansion pack.
 
Yea can't beat two months free since this and Conan are really just holding me over until September when WAR comes out. I'm confused though since I haven't been able to find the thingy that lets me travel to all the new places or the mirror to change my appearance that I'm supposed to have.
 
Is there a CAG clan on any server ? If not .. what server are you guys using ? All my old characters are gone since it has been so long since I played so will be starting over.
 
This might be a different kind of deal and a YMMV type thing but, it looks like this works for the original EQ as well, inlcuding 14 or so expansions. Very nice. :)

When I logged into my station.com account to check out this EQ2 thing, EQ1 shows up with 54 days remaining, and all xpacs enabled. It should be noted that I did have an EQ account way back when..

Yeah I checked mine and it is only for EQ2 at this point. I did have an EQ1 account way back when but it was most likely under a different User ID at the time. Maybe it is just for those that had an EQ1 account as well.

Same here, but EQ2 only shows 14 days remaining. Shouldn't it list 54? I played EQ when it was first released, but never played EQ2.
