I finally used this as an opportunity to pick up an GBA SP. The ad states any game (instead of limiting it to GBA games) so I picked up Advance Wars DS. I didn't want to push my luck with a $49.99 console game and at first they questioned the DS game but when they looked at the ad they had no problem with it. YMMV on this but if they don't you may want to have a back up game in mind just in case (mine was Wario Ware Twisted).

Again, this looks like an instore deal only and the actual wording on the ad (page 18) states "Buy any GameBoy Advance System and get any Instock Game or Accessory FREE!" with a picture of the GBA SP Onyx for $79.99 directly beneath.

Good luck, I was able to score a GBA SP and Advance Wars DS for about $86. Hurry, the ad ends on Sunday, 10/16.

[quote name='redline']Did you get the SP with the backlit screen? (Graphite and Pearl Blue) By the way, this was already posted:

Ooops, my bad. I did a search for MicroCenter thinking it was one word and it didn't pop up. Can't believe I missed it the other day, too, because I've been looking for a deal on one.

They only had the Onyx and the dark blue one (can't remember the name of the color) so I ended up exchanging it at a different store for the pearl blue one.

Whew, that's a relief. I wonder how many people will end up buying the SP with the front light, not even knowing about the new models with the back light.

When I heard about the backlight, that was the final straw that made me break in and get a GBASP+. I've made due with my original GBA for all this time and it really is like day and night in the difference (and this was even with the backlight being on the low setting). I was debating between the SP+ and the Micro but this deal sealed it for me (that and the ability to play all of my GB and GBC games).
