Saw this posted over on GameFAQs and thought I would spread the love. I hate Capcom for cancelling Megaman Legends 3 but at least we're getting something out of the whole debacle. This includes a fan collaborated original concept album as well as a remix album of other Mega Man Legends songs. I just started listening to them and they are classic Megaman Legends goodness. Damn you Capcom :(

Keep in mind that the last two MM games in development, both games that fans really wanted badly, were both cancelled. Those being Megaman Legends 3 and Megaman Universe. For the 25th Anniversary they released an overpriced and crappy looking USB drive. They clearly want to kill Megaman off with the treatment they give the series.

I don't think they wanna kill Mega Man, I think they just suck complete ass at managing the IP, kinda like Sega with Sonic :lol:. I mean the Street Fighter vs Mega Man game was really decent and true to its roots...and Mega Man 9 & 10 were as well...if anything, they just wanna kill off anything new Mega Man related; and despite how good it was, Mega Man Legends falls into that category.

Street Fighter X Mega Man was originally a fan game that Capcom got wind of and put it out themselves. They had nothing to do with the development of that game.

That doesn't affect my argument, as its still held together by Mega Man 9 & 10; and regardless of whoever made SFxMM, it was still publicized greatly by Capcom...

To be fair it's fan made stuff. Capcom threw any music they had made for the game straight into the trash.

Seriously check it out. It really feels like Mega Man Legends music and I really could see it being in a MML game, minus the fact that Capcom won't give us another.

P.S. I hate Capcom too. Officially on my boycott list for quite some time now.
