Free Soul Calibur and Street Fighter CCG sample card

hahahaha! with this power, i shall make the ultimate deck: made up of only the shoren-sho reversal attack:

trying to punch me?
REVERSE'D

trying to stab me?
REVERSE'D

trying to shoot me? (guns aren't the answer kiddies)
REVERSE'D

and no, i haven't read the rules yet... let me just feel like im clever for a bit longer...

I want to know what Capcom is thinking. What happened to the other card system that works with Mortal Kombat cards? Those have only been out for six months or so. Did I waste my money on them?

i'm wondering the same thing. i'm noticing some udon artwook on these new cards, and the mortal kombat cards for epic battles recently were released in hobby stores (both mortal kombat and street fighter previously only exclusive to blockbuster stores). could it be that street fighter is jumping ship to sabretooth?

Epic Battles! Thank you. I couldn't think of the name for the life of me. I don't play it nearly as much as VS, but I really dig the Udon art style. And I'm a Street Fighter whore. So, how could I not play?

My problem is that I'm also a Penny Arcade whore as well. The idea of the Cardboard Tube Samurai vs Ryu makes my smile. But I hate to dump my money in to anoter third rate CCG.

[quote name='E-Mail']I think you'll like the game and I think it is a deeper system then Epic
Battles

Guess that means they're sending me some. :p

Got my sample decks already.

Now I just need to wait on the PA decks.

This looks like it could be a lot of fun. Maybe a good diversion to my games of Munchkin...

Wow. Got a call from back home, and it seems the cards already reached my house! Fast turnaround! (Not sure what cards exactly, as they are at home, and I am not.)

I got a e-mail today from Alex all about a pre-launch event as well as a demo deck walk-thru. You guys that got your decks today, are they jsut a few cards or actual decks?

These guys are cool they sent them to me and I am in Canada, so if you live in Canada go crazy and ask for the decks.

Got my demo decks today, 2 decks of Chun-Li and 2 decks of Taki. They're full decks too, feels like 30ish cards a pop, haven't had a chance to read the rules or pop em open yet though.

:bouncy:

i got the decks today. 1 set of Street Fighter deck and 1 set of Soul Calibur deck. they give u 30 cards for SF and 30 cards for SC. they have doubles. so its like 15 different cards for SF and 15 different cards for SC.

Ugh. I still haven't gotten my cards and I'd hate to e-mail them. I don't want to sound greedy.

Has anyone played any games yet? How do you like them?

I got my cards the day after I posted that, hehe. I sent them a little thank you e-mail.

...The game is pretty damn cool.

I received a rare card in the mail today (two, actually, but one is for my cousin). How awesome is that?

Make sure to send these guys e-mails thanking them. :)
