Free Steam Key through GMG, XCOM: Enemy Unknown

I did the voting but it only mentioned being entered into a drawing for an iPad. It didn't mention XCOM at all. They don't notify you about it at all?
 
Keep getting errors wit the site anyways. Don't know why I have to click 3 damn times to vote for something. Think I'll just saw screw it and call it a day, I made it 4 votes in.

Yeah I know you can't redeem until voting ends. Just a heads-up like "We'll e-mail you soon about how to get your free XCOM" or something would be nice. I guess I'm just paranoid because I couldn't be arsed to do the whole thing.

Right? After you choose your nomination, you're led to a page where they puff up the game, you submit the vote, then you have to click to continue voting. Something something queues in Britain.
 
How do they associate voting with Playfire / Steam account? I had to create a CVG account in order to submit the vote, but there wasn't any linking option for the XCOM giveaway.

I don't recall exactly how it worked last year, but I still have the activation email which came from GMG. I'm assuming you'll get an email from CVG, you log into GMG to confirm, then they'll send you the key.

This is what I am thinking. I was worried once I submitted and thought I screwed up. I wonder how many keys they have...

 
I just recived an email from CVG about claiming the free game. In a couple of minutes a recived the steam code for XCOM: Enemy Unknown to reddem, so I suggest you to check the emails you use to register and vote!

Same here, apparently if you unlock the steam achievement while playing you get a 80% off voucher for enemy within. Very nice and thanks again OP.

 
They send me an email to confirm my steam account but when I do it says "Looks like you already linked your steam account" But for some reason I haven't received the email with the code.

 
Was able to claim a code, didn't take much to do it. I probably should do a giveaway for the version on PS3 since I have a few extras laying around, new.

 
Registered, voted and linked account on the 15th and still haven't received a key. It appears as though it is not working for me (I did the process via my mobile phone not sure if that should matter).

 
Does anyone have a spare Enemy Within coupon they can PM me? Whenever I try to launch XCOM:EU through Steam it crashes back to desktop, so I obviously can't play through the tutorial to get mine... :bomb: Thanks in advance!

 
I voted and didn't get a code. They even emailed be saying that they hope I got it with a X-Com DLC discount code. Any ideas?
